T-Mobile isn’t the only major U.S. carrier that’s giving tablet users free data.

Verizon announced today that when its customers activated a cellular-enabled tablet on a 1GB or higher More Everything plan, those subscribers will receive an additional gigabyte of data for as long as they keep that tablet active.

This seems like a pretty nice deal for anyone interested in picking up a cellular tablet from Verizon. One gigabyte is a decent amount of data, and the best part is that you’ll keep getting that gig as long as you keep the tablet active on your More Everything plan. There’s no word on how long this promo will run, so if you’re interested in taking advantage of the offer, you may want to hit up Verizon as soon as possible.
