Looks like the rumors were true. T-Mobile announced today that it will launch the LG Optimus L90 on April 30, complete with a price tag of $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $9.50 each. That works out to a total of $228. In exchange for your hard-earned dollars, you’ll receive an Android handset with the following specs:

  • 4.7-inch 960x540 display
  • 1.2GHz quad-core processor
  • 5-megapixel rear camera, secondary front-facing shooter
  • microSD card slot
  • Self-healing rear cover
  • Android 4.4 KitKat

T-Mobile’s not the only carrier getting a new LG device, as MetroPCS is also teaming up with the Life’s Good crew to launch a new Android phone. MetroPCS is now selling the LG Optimus L70 for $49 after a $100 instant rebate. New MetroPCS customers can snag the Optimus L70 for even less, as Metro is offering a second $49 mail-in rebate to new customers that port in a number and pay for a second month of qualifying service.

As far as the LG Optimus L70’s specs go, here’s what you can expect to get from the newest member of the MetroPCS family:

  • 4.5-inch 800x480 display
  • 1.2GHz dual-core processor
  • 5-megapixel rear, VGA front cameras
  • 4GB storage
  • microSD card slot
  • NFC
  • 2040mAh battery
  • Android 4.4 KitKat

While neither of these new LG phones will blow your hair back with their raw power, they do both have KitKat, large displays and affordable price tags. That combination of features could make either the L70 or L90 a good fit for any consumers looking for a new Android smartphone that’s easy on the wallet.
