Nokia Lumia 1020 phone update

Are you enrolled in the Windows Phone 8.1 Preview for Developers? If so, you’ll want to fire up your Phone Update functionality, because Microsoft is pushing some piping hot software to register developers.

Microsoft is now pushing an update to OS version 8.10.12393.890 over the air. The company hasn’t made any official announcements regarding this update, so it’s not yet clear exactly what changes that it brings with it.

If you’ve got a Windows Phone device that’s enrolled in the Preview for Developers program, you can check for the update manually by heading into Settings > Phone Update > Check for Updates. And if you’ve got a Windows Phone 8 device and you haven’t signed up for Preview for Developers, you can register as a developer for free using the Windows Phone App Studio and then install the Preview for Developers app from the Windows Phone Store.

Stay tuned and I’ll update you on this Windows Phone 8.1 revision with more details as I get ‘em. If you get the update installed on your device, give me a shout in the comments below!
