Oppo Find 7a now available with 'Astro Black' dudsAlex Wagner - Editorial Director of News and Content
A couple of months after Oppo launched the Find 7a in white and “Midnight” black models, the company today announced the availability of a new device hue.
Oppo is now offering an “Astro Black” version of the Find 7a in its online store. This model features a black backside with what appears to be a carbon fiber-esque texture rather than the smooth backside found on the Midnight black variant. After ponying up $499, you’ll receive an Astro Black Find 7a with the following specs:
- 5.5-inch 1920x1080 display
- 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor
- 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony Exmor RS sensor, f/2.0 aperture
- 5-megapixel front camera
- 2GB RAM
- 16GB storage
- microSD card slot
- Android 4.3 Jelly Bean
- Fast charge technology
- 2800mAh battery
- UMTS/HSPA+ 42Mbps: 850/900/1900/2100MHz
- LTE bands: 1, 3, 7, 20, 40
It’s worth pointing out that this is the international version of the Find 7a, not the U.S. variant. The difference between the two models are their HSPA+ and LTE support, with the U.S. model sporting more U.S.-friendly bands.
Even though it doesn’t pack the super high-res 2560x1440 display that the Find 7 does, the Find 7a still has a pretty respectable feature set with a 1080p display, speedy processor and fast charge battery tech that will help you to top your Find 7a off quickly.
