Good news, Verizon Galaxy Note II owners! Verizon has officially announced the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for its version of the Note II, and Ol’ Red has even shared a full changelog for this major update. Here’s what you can expect to find inside the KOT49H.I605VRUFND7 update:

Verizon began pushing Android 4.4.2 to the Galaxy S 4 in April and then the Galaxy Note 3 in May, so it’s good to see the Galaxy Note II get its own helping of KitKat in June. Neither Verizon nor Samsung have made announcements regarding the update’s rollout, so it’s not yet clear exactly when the push will begin. If you’re rocking a Galaxy Note II with Verizon tattoos, you can manually check for the update by heading into Settings > About Phone > System updates.

Be sure to give us a shout in the comments section when your Verizon Galaxy Note II gets updated to Android 4.4.2!
