The Exynos ModAP is made using a 28nm HKMG process and boasts support for 2G, 3G and 4G LTE technologies. Samsung's new chip also claims to offer faster multitasking, support for high-res cameras and high-quality video capture and graphics playback.
In addition to the ModAP, Samsung announced an Exynos Modem with support for LTE-Advanced Carrier Aggregation, as well as an Exynos RF companion chip that supports enhanced connectivity with LTE networks.
