Chrome for iPhone, iPad iOS

Is Google Chrome your browser of choice on iOS? If so, you’ll want to hit up the App Store as soon as possible, because an update to Chrome is rolling out today.

Google says that this update bumps Chrome for iOS up to version 36.0.1985.49 and includes the following tweaks:

  • Allows mobile sites that have added Cast support to work with your Cast-enabled device.
  • Stability improvements and bug fixes.

Cast support has been in iOS for a while thanks to the official Chromecast app, but today’s update makes it even easier for the Apple crowd to Cast their content by building support into Chrome itself. Sounds like a big win for Chromecasters to me.
