HTC One M8 for Windows Phone Verizon leak

The HTC One (M8) for Windows is reportedly going to hit store shelves and our pockets in less than two weeks, but if you’re like us and can’t wait that long without another morsel  of info about the device, you’ll be glad to hear that the rumor mill is making the wait easier.

The folks at WPCentral claim to have the full spec rundown on the HTC One (M8) for Windows, and as we suspected, it’s basically an HTC One (M8) but with Windows Phone 8.1 instead of Android. Here’s what we’ve been told to expect from the One (M8) for Windows:

  • 5-inch 1920x1080 Super LCD3 display
  • UltraPixel rear, 5-megapixel front cameras
  • 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor
  • 32GB of storage, microSD slot with support for cards up to 128GB
  • 2GB of RAM
  • BoomSound front-facing speakers
  • DotView case support
  • Windows Phone 8.1
  • 2600mAh battery

It’s been a while since we’ve seen any new Windows Phone hardware from HTC, and even longer since we’ve seen any on Verizon. And while Verizon folk have a quality Windows Phone option in the Nokia Lumia Icon, it’ll be nice for them to have another piece of high-end WP kit to choose from.

Are any of you interested in the HTC One (M8) for Windows?
