HTC One M8 for Windows Verizon Wireless store signage

HTC is holding an event tomorrow at which the One (M8) for Windows is expected to make its official debut, but that doesn’t mean that the rumor mill is going to stop churning out leaks.

A photo that shows some in-store signage for the HTC One (M8) for Windows has leaked out. The source of the image says that the display is up at a Verizon Wireless store in Virginia and that it’s scheduled to officially go up tomorrow, August 19.

The display shows the same HTC One (M8) for Windows that we’ve seen a couple of times already and also confirms that the phone will go by the name “HTC One (M8).”

It’s expected that the HTC One (M8) running Windows Phone 8.1 will offer specs similar to its Android-powered counterpart. That means that it’ll pack a 5-inch 1080p display, Duo Camera setup with an UltraPixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing shooter, quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a microSD slot. Add to that some BoomSound front-facing speakers and a 2600mAh battery and the One (M8) for Windows ought to be a top tier Windows Phone device once it hits store shelves.
