Motorola Luge Verizon Wireless

Verizon’s prepaid family got a new member today, but to us it’s an old face.

The Motorola Luge is now available from Verizon as a prepaid device. If it looks familiar, it should, because the Luge looks to be a prepaid version of the DROID RAZR M that launched in 2012.

Priced at $199.99 without a commitment, the Motorola Luge features a 4.3-inch 960x540 Super AMOLED Advanced display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel rear and 0.3-megapixel front cameras, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage and a microSD slot. Powering the Luge is a 2000mAh battery and Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

So yeah, the Luge is pretty much the DROID RAZR M. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, though, as the Luge has some respectable features for a $200 no-contract smartphone. Those include Android 4.4 KitKat and 4G LTE, which only recently became available on Verizon prepaid.
