Sprint is all about offering its customers more data than its competitors. The big yellow carrier introduced its Family Share Pack and a $60 Unlimited plan back in August, and today it revealed that it’s doing a solid for light data consumers as well.
Sprint today announced that it’s launching a 1GB shared data bucket for its Family Share Plan. The 1GB allotment is priced at $20, which previously got customers just 600MB of data. The Sprint Family Share Plan requires a $25 per line monthly fee for non-discounted phones or a $40 per month charge for discounted devices.
While 1GB of data isn’t enough for many folks by themselves, let alone enough for them to share with others, it could be a nice option for two or three people that are light data users or are around Wi-Fi all the time. And hey, I think we can all agree that 1GB is a nice upgrade from 600MB.
