With all of its plastic and leather backs, the LG G4 certainly isn’t hurting for color options. LG has decided to add one more, though.
The LG G4 White Gold Edition has been introduced in South Korea. In terms of features, the White Gold G4 is the same as the model that debuted way back in April. The difference is that the White Gold model is all white, including a smooth back, with gold trim all around the outer edge of the phone.
So why release a new White Gold version of the LG G4 7 months after the original launched? It’s not unheard of for device makers to release older hardware in new colors to reinvigorate interest in a device, and LG says that it’s targeting women and young customers with the White Gold G4.
The White Gold G4 looks nice, offering a smooth white backside that’s a bit cleaner than the other plastic and leather backs that you can get with the G4. Unfortunately, there’s no word when or if it’ll ever become available outside of South Korea. Folks that do live in South Korea can expect to pay 699,600 South Korean Won, or approximately $605 USD.
