The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017), and Galaxy A7 (2017) are now official. All three phones share a similar design with a metal frame and 3D glass back, which gives them a look similar to Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S7. Each model also includes a home button that doubles as a fingerprint reader.
Here are the raw spec details for each new Galaxy A handset:
Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017)
Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017)
Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017)
These new Galaxy A (2017) phones will launch in Russia in early January, and Samsung expects to roll them out in other “global markets” afterward.
While Samsung’s Galaxy A (2017) handsets likely won’t appeal to someone interested in the latest Galaxy flagship, they do look nice for consumers that are interested in a more affordable mid-range device. The features included with the three phones are respectable, and Samsung has borrowed several design cues from the Galaxy S7 to give the Galaxy A series a more premium look and feel.
