Use non-phone-specific filters on your PriceView© setup screen to show an almost limitless number of phone/carrier/manufacturer combinations.

PriceView© is designed to be easy-to-use and setup, however, included are a set of powerful filters that anyone can use to further customize what cell phones will be returned on each of their PriceView© units.

  • Filter by carrier
Select a carrier to filter the output of your PriceView© unit to only show cell phones by that carrier. PriceView© includes all national (Verizon, Cingular, T-Mobile, Sprint, etc.), regional (MetroPCS, Einstein, SunCom, etc.) and specialy carriers (amp'd Mobile, Boost Mobile, etc.)

  • Filter by manufacturer
Choose a manufacturer to filter the output to only show cell phones by tha manufacturer. PriceView© includes all phone manufacturers that currently offer cell phone for sale with a new service plan in the U.S.

  • Filter by feature
Filter the output to show only cell phones that are flip phones, bluetooth capable, have PDA capabilities, or include a camera.

  • Filter by price
Select this filter to show phones that are either "Free" or "Better than free"

Let's take a look how someone might use them these filters to create an almost limitless number of PriceView© configurations. Remember, all of these filters are completely optional and leaving them set on the default option will display the most popular cell phones.

Scenario #1 - Cell Phone Blog Website
Bob runs a popular cell phone blog and wants to integrate PriceView© into his content and articles to more acurately target his readers with related cell phone pricing. He just finished writing an article on the new Cingular PDA phones on the market. Rather than displaying an unrelated cell phone banner, Bob configures a PriceView© unit using the "Carrier Filter > Cingular" and "Features filter > PDA phones" to display the currently available Cingular PDA phones right within his article.

Not only is Bob providing more relevant content to his loyal visitors, he also increases his revenue potential by displaying precicely targeted comparisons.

Scenario #2 - Cell Phone Accessories Website
John is the webmaster of a highly-trafficed cell phone accessories website and is currently using one of the basic cell phone affiliate programs to send his visitors and customers to a third-party cell phone website. He signs up for a PhoneDog PriceView© account and starts to setup pages for each carrier on his website to show PriceView© units that compare the best prices by each carrier.

Rather than sending his customers and visitors off to another website right away, John can now keep his audience on his site long and pre-qualify them for a certain carrier and/or special. Having already established a certain amount of credibility with his visitors John's clickthrough ratio revenue potential increases.
