Never tried to contact me, sent $60 to collections!
By cubicleisland, posted: Dec 12I closed the account and moved to Verizon. I asked them so many times if it was paid off and they told me yes. Months ago I was checking my credit and found they sent me to collections for $60! $60?! If I would had known about it I would had paid, I only called and asked 3 times waiting on hold for an hour each time. Never got a bill, nothing. I lived at the same address, kept the same phone number. Never tried to contact me. I called them and told them if they just remove it from my record I would pay that off since it was so small and stupid. They said no. So my credit got dinged because of $60?? And of course every time I have called to talk to them I am on hold for an hour. Now I have decided to shop cell phone plans and never in a billion years would I consider going back because of this! Just thought I would throw out some warnings in case any one else is shopping around. I am so frustrated with them I am making a hobby out of warning others.

By loree2012, posted: Dec 12Never give help when you need it. When you call them, they take forever to answer. When they answer, there is nothing they can really do to help you. Even if you are a long-time costumer, even 12 to 13 years, they still treat you as a new costumer. Someone that they don't care about. They are the worst company I've ever known. Do not go for this company! It's terrible. Bad costumer service. Bad cell reception. They charge you for 3G, even when you don't use it. They are overpriced, you can definitely find a better cell company for less money and better quality. Pass it on.- 1.0 overall

horrible
By Ren Hartin, posted: Dec 12They started charging me data fees while I was using wifi on my phone, so I called to get it fixed. The first customer rep I spoke to refused to talk to me because she said my password was wrong, even though it wasn't. Then, I called back and spoke to someone else and he told me that I just don't know how to use my phone and did not do anything to help. They were both incredibly rude. I would not recommend at&t to anyone.

By julieg12, posted: Dec 12I had multiple live chats with AT&T regarding the Mobile Share plan. I specifically asked whether people in different parts of the country can be on the Mobile Share plan. On three different occasions I was told this was possible. When I went to purchase the phone I was told that the country is divided into different markets and that people in different markets cannot be on the same Mobile Share plan, unless people change their cell phone numbers. As part of one of my live chats I had asked if my number in Portland could be ported over and join an account in Chicago and was told that this would be possible. It is apparently not possible.- 1.0 overall
Terrible Customer Service

When I realized that the plan I recently ordered five days prior did not offer me the complete promotional details for my area, I cancelled it. I then placed another order with the better promotion. That same day I received an email stating the order I had just placed was cancelled due to dual orders placed. I called to conflict issue and place yet another order. Well, now at&t wanted to run my credit for the third time within one week. I was approved two times prior. I felt that didn't make any sense. The rep stated that if I allow them to run my credit again, I may receive a better promotion as a new customer. As far as I was concerned I was still a new customer, since I never intercepted the merchandise and it was returned to them unopened. I never received any service. That was a true indicator of the customer service I would receive if I were to continue to proceed to receive the service.... AT&T sucked ten years ago when they took ameritech and they STILL SUCK. NOT ABOUT THE CUSTOMER. - 1.3 overall

Extremely poor customer service
By MaryLou Roberts, posted: Oct 12I tried to manage my small business account and all I got was a run around, and finally got dis-connected. I want to cancel but they are making it really hard to do so. my advice is to not use this company!
