Media MailBy Geraldine Morgan Clinton, posted: Jun 12I have had Boost Mobile and love all the options for the price. BUT....now they are going to stop letting us have Media Mail on our cell phones on 8-20-12. since I use this alot, as well as the rest of my family and friends, I guess it's time to change back to my old provider. You may want to pass this info along too.

There has been no service for boost mobile for about 3 weeks now!!By Mary Nelson, posted: May 12I used to love my Boost Mobile phone. now I am looking to switch to AT&T. There has been little to no service for 3 weeks. I called customer service, good luck with that. they had no clue!!! Their going to lose a lot of customers with there lack of concern. I've been with Boost for 2 yrs and never had a problem.

Used to be great now terribleBy Lauren Meier, posted: Apr 12Ive had boost mobile since 2006. I never had any problems. Service was excellent, customer service was excellent and which ever phone I was using always worked as it was advertised. Then we switched to the Android phone (Ultra) and the service has been terrible. My phone will say I have a great signal but when I go to dial a number or send a text I get a message saying the network is not available. Ive tried calling customer service and I havent been able to get a hold of an actual person at all. I recommended this company to 7 family members who are all over the country and they are all having the same issues so I can rule out that it is just my area. They really used to be great but now they are just terrible. I hate to go back to a plan but for the money I am paying for unlimited service on 3 phones I should be able to make a call and send a text message. I will no longer recommend or use Boost Mobile

Random Boost Messages and Their Excuse for itBy J M, posted: Apr 12Customer Service SUCKS!!!! They don't know much about their products. BEFORE I upgraded my Android phone, I've been receiving messages from Boost Mobile talking about a plan change. This will happen every so often. I called Customer Service to find out why and they seem to be ignorant of this. Now that I've upgraded my Android they are using that as an excuse as to why my plan kept changing BEFORE the upgrade, which was my first phone with them. Me upgrading made the situation no better, so it made me a jack-*** too. Oh and did I mention it takes FOREVER getting to a representative who feeds you bull crap when you finally reach them? Well I have now.

Watch out for the Pay as you goBy fayz, posted: Mar 12I purchased a pay as you go plan ($2/day plan) for my son. I admit that I did not read the fine print but relied on the wireless expert at Target. The plan charges $2 day whether the phone is used or not making it more expensive than their monthly unlimited plan. They would not address why they even offer this plan once I was able to get a hold of their customer service rep. It took me 2 emails and 2 calls before I was actually able to speak to the most unhelpful person. I would recommend to anyone to avoid this company. The do not have their customers interest in mind at all. I cannot wait until Sprint and Boost get acquired by a better company.

Cheap but expect issuesBy Anthony Apice, posted: Mar 12I've been with Boost for over 2 years now. It's been relatively smooth sailing until late. I've always had some issues crop up with sending/receiving texts every other month or so but it was usually resolved rather quickly. It was never even worth a call into customer service (thank goodness because that's a NIGHTMARE). For what I'm paying a month I can accept little blips like this. Recently however, both cell service and receiving texts have been a major issue. My phone was useless for over two weeks at one point and now I'm still having issues with texts. Getting a Boost rep on the phone is a LOT more troublesome then it should be. Once you do get a rep, I have to say they are always pleasant and rather chipper considering what they are doing. A good attitude only makes up slightly for their incompetence however and the managers aren't nearly as pleasant should you need to escalate the call. Anyway, for essentially not having a phone for two weeks and still having issues with the service, I was awarded a whopping $10 credit to my account. Even after arguing that was the best they can offer. Frankly, I thought it was insulting. So, for years I've been accepting of slightly shotty service for the deep savings but now I'm thinking it's worth it to pay a bit more. If you can deal with the occasional headache, Boost will certainly help your wallet, but I'm over it.

Great value and quality with average customer service.By Kevin Crouse, posted: Mar 12I have had Boost mobile for about 5 years now. I previously had Nextel and my provider before that was Verizon. The quality and value of Boost is great, the customer service is lacking some as I have had a few issues with them but nothing serious. Honestly I had worst customer service and issues with Verizon. I couldn't be happier with my Boost plan I had the shrinkage plan since it was released. For the price it just can't be beat with great quality, value, and average customer service.

I love it!By Paul Trebing, posted: Feb 12I don't understand what problems the other folks had. I had Sprint for 8 years and after many billing issues, I went to an all inclusive plan from Boost. Since it uses the same Sprint CDMA towers, I figured I would get the same great service. I was right. The key to getting better customer service is to go to the Sprint store and get the in store reps to help you instead of going to the call in service. When I was with Sprint, I only called customer care when there was a billing issue, which was EVERY month. With Boost, there are no overages, so I can handle my bill from the website. Keep in mind, not all phone companies are the same. YOU have to figure the best way to deal with them. With Boost you will get no overages like you would with Verizon or Sprint, so no surprises.
