You're rolling the diceBy jcasetnl, posted: Feb 12If you're in a good coverage area then Boost is a nice bargain. I'm not, and the phone I bought is advertised as having wifi calling, but Boost doesn't support it. You would think as the model (Replenish) is advertised on Samsung's own site as having this feature that Boost would point out they don't support it to avoid customer confusion. Customer service is practically non-existent with Boost, so if you run into a problem, get ready for a painful experience. Pretty much the only way to resolve any sort of service or phone issue is to cancel your service and return the phone, which I did. I guess the best thing I can say about Boost is that since there is no contract, at least you can limit your losses.

Changed for better price & coverage,...By stasjuice, posted: Feb 12I recently left T-Mobile (since 2001 when they were Voice Stream) for Boost. I live in FL and I could barely receive calls in my own home unless I turned on the WIFI calling, and even then I got terrible reception. I decided that it was time for a change and that I didnt want to pay $100.00 or more a month for a cell phone. I shopped around and was already using Virgin Mobile (who uses the same towers) and found out about Boost's shrinking plan. Teamed up with the great service I was already getting I decided to go with Boost. For a pre-paid service I honestly cant complain. With T-Mobile I had great service back in Philly, but here in SWFL they just didnt cut it. Boost works well, $55 a month for unlimited everything,... cant beat it. Of course the phones arent as great as the T-Mobile phones (better processors, technology, Android updates, and 4G capability)and they dont get as many newer phones as other carriers do as often as they do, but you get what you pay for. I myself am content with the Samsung Transform Ultra and havent had any problems with my phone nor my service. I cut my cell phone bill by more then half this year & am happy with what I have. Do your research and see what works for you. I have yet to have a need to talk to customer service so I dont have a rating for them. Not sure how old these other reviews are but I got my phone in January of 2012. Hope I was of some help in your decision making,...

Great ExperianceBy Chris Moore, posted: Feb 12I love my LG Optimus and I use it as a WIFI hotspot and can also tether it for faster speeds but you cant beat a 100 dollar phone that costs 300 normally and unlock it to do all of what the 500 dollar plus phones do. For 55 dollars a month unlimited everything is hard to beat. I am comming from 3 years with Tmobile which I loved they just dont have enough coverage out here in the boonies where I now live, and SPRINT happens to cover it so, Boost works for me! great deal, get-er-done

NightmareBy dex1, posted: Feb 12 - updated: Feb 12The service is ok but the phones are crap. The customer service is just as bad. Their refund policy just stinks. I had a phone that just would not work and the 4th day after I bought it and tried to return it. They said I was a day late, and five minutes over the 30 minute use. I was so upset for not being able to get a refund at boost mobile in Spring Valley CA Sweetwater road that I told them to keep the phone. Its junk anyways. What a joke!!

Use A NEXTEL phone on BoostBy Bart, posted: Jan 12I have had Boost since 2009. I had NOTHING but heartache. CONSTANT dropped calls, 2 day delayed texts, people couldn't reach me, etc. Here is the interesting part, all the time I had problems, I was using BOOST phones. A friend of mine on NEXTEL gave me a I580 for free. I put my SIM card from the Boost phone into the i580 and, all at once, I mean AT ONCE, all the problems disappeared! The NEXTEL phone works great! After all, BOOST is iDEN and that means you are using the NEXTEL network anyway. Seems the NEXTEL phones are the answer, I have a friend who also did this and all is well.

Not what i was expectingBy Juicy_Justice, posted: Jan 12Ive had boost before and never really had a problem with them. Now that I have the android phone im seeming to get all types of issues. Dropped calls and poor to no connection coverage. Im confused as how they say they have 3G coverage and it never works. If im indoors you can forget about my phone working. I have had Verizon off and on for years and i finally had enough with the $100+ monthly bills. So i thought going back to boost since they had android phones would be worth it...boy was i wrong. my suggestion is don't offer a service if the company can not keep up with it.

Horrible. Dont waste your time or money!By steph roberts, posted: Dec 11You dont have good service on your phone, so the phones cut out alot. you CANNOT contact anyone when you have a question(just the machince) I felt like they do not care about anything but a quick dollar... i NEVER write reviews on any company, but i feel like this is necessary! I dont want anyone to get taken advantage of like i did. if your looking to start a new phone, my advice would be to avoid boost at all cost. even cricket is better than them . I moved on the Verizon, and Boost is in NOOOO comparison with them! -steph
