Centennial Wireless

The good: I find the coverage is great. Very seldom do I not have service or if I don't someone with another provider does. In fact I am usually the one with service. I get excellent help when I need, service has always been excellent, I have never had to be without a phone. If phone is not fixable, they provide you with the same or comparable phone right then. (If you have there warranty coverage) Workers have always been honest and have always given excellent advice on plans or choice of phones. The bad: In the past they had a small selection of phones to choose from, but they have improved tremendously. Summary: I do not see myself changing providers in the near future and when asked about my service/provider I always recommend it. I vacation 2-3 times a year and coverage is always your biggest concern, Centennial has never disappointed me yet. I am also satisfied with the plans they offer and prices. Definitely recommend to others

Good overall service, Not the best in Customer Service

Posted on: March 13th, 2007 by Jason Boris

The good: Coverage, especially since they can roam to both Cingular and TMobile's towers (which they don't do with each other) Offering all 3 companies coverage maps. Overall monthly cost for the minutes you get (even knowing they're regional)The bad: Customer Support stinkss, uncaring, unknowledgable, high cost of initial phones, not the latest & greatest phones, Wireless Data on phones lacks MANY features, Sending picture messages is a royal pain to other subcribers than centennial.Summary: I had a pretty good sales person, she was knowledgable, but the customer non-support need to be sent to sensativity training as well as required to complete the third grade. I get better service in my home vs. Cingular or Tmobile, but have the option to "manually" roam to their towers, which I know on both of their phones you don't have that option to do so. I came from Verizon, which I will say was a little more expensive but however evil their customer service was eventually you'll get someone that knows something. Centennial this has YET to happen! I've been misbilled, billed for things I didn't sign up for, overbilled and everything else imaginable. But I would probably make the same decision and go with them again. Just wish they had the "latest" phones when they came out instead of waiting 6 months to a year or more for them to come out.

Long time customer has seen an incredible dive in service

Posted on: October 17th, 2006 by Anonymous

The good: They have decent reception in my home area. The bad: Customer service is terrible to long time customers. Summary: In general more concerned with pushing the company line in the hopes of not getting fired instead of taking care of their customers like they did for many years. The joy of a small company is gone (personal service, less red tape) and the perks of a large company (a variety of phones, great coverage, many locations). Avoid at all costs, they have nothing new or unique to offer anymore :(

Cell phone Carrier

The good: Excellent Customer Service. The bad: None to report.Summary: When I was having poor reception in my house, a customer service rep came to my house with 5 different phones to try. I was able to exchange my phone 3 times for one that would work well in my house. Customer service is excellent.
