Clueless time wasteersBy Charles F. Radley, posted: Apr 2Cricket wireless are useless with the most poorly trained customer service of any cell phone company i have dealt with. It took me three hours and lengthy conversations with seven different reps before I was able to change my a payment on my checking account ..... my attempts at making the payment were failing and nobody could tell me why.... the clueless manager Jenny at the local store in Vancouver WA blew me off with a cock and bull story about how the bank was declining the payments. I called my bank and they said that was baloney, and that nobody had attempted to charge the bank. After three hours of lengthy periods on hold and lengthy conversations with clueless reps, I was eventually connected with a specialist in the payment center who told me exactly what was going on .. apparently the first time that a checking account is used there are some extra verification steps required, and once we went through that process the payment cleared just fine. It is ridiculous that none of the customer service people knew this, and it is insane that the branch manager Jenny did not know this.

HorribleBy Hope Everett, posted: Mar 9 I dropped my phone and the touch screen stopped working so I called the hotline number they gave me at radio shack. That guy transferred me to another number where even the automated voices couldn't speak english. That lady transferred me to another number which transferred me to another number. The nice lady there told me that they couldn't help me and I was just going to have to buy another phone. Never again, Cricket. You have lost my business for good. This was truly a horrible experience.

Bad and AwfulBy Lambat Shabal, posted: Feb 13Hi everyone I first used Cricket back in 2010 about 2to 3 months then I dropped them due to rude CUTOMER SERVICE. Last year2013 I seen them advertising 4G LTE!?!?! Wow I thoughts that they may have improved after all few stars in holywood keep singing Cricket half price of Verizon and ATT ! Huh I decided to give them another try. I purchased a phone on credit financed by FORTIVA at 30% interest. I didn't mind about as I needed a phone but to only be disapointed at the receipt of the 4G LTE hahaha. It was just 3G with fading signal all the city I moved WEST.NORTH,SOUTH,AND EAST of the city looking for signal but to avail. after 24 hours is now am just sending their nice looking toy called Samsung GalaxyS4. Now am telling anyone who may be thinking of joining this sweet cricket to rethink and ask prior to purchase the phone or just try to find out from friends try using their hones in your city and see what you get before. About CSR on the phone early morning I spoke to some guy who speak like indian but honestly despite accent he was nice the problem he is working for wrong guy Cricket.

Custormer service is pretty awfulBy D Greene, posted: Jan 17I enrolled in Automatic Bill Pay and did not receive the discount for enrollment. I called several times about this. I was given inconsistent stories, I spoke to supervisors who promised to look into it and get back to me and didn't. It took months to get it sorted out and that only happened inadvertently when I had to update my credit card information. I wouldn't bother writing a review of the service if they hadn't proven to be deliberately obtuse and misleading, incompetent, and useless. Overall, the lying was particularly annoying. I had problems with T-mobile and I believe that this might be common to all cell phone companies, but Cricket seems more dishonest than most.

Incompetent Sales & Costomer Service RepresentativesBy Melissa Yahnke, posted: Dec 13The customer service at Cricket is horrendous and the cheap cell phone service they provide it 100% reflected in their incompetent employees--after being lied to by one female representative (with an irritating, unintelligible Indian accent no less) in web sales, and then proceeding to get the run around while being transferred from department to the next for 6+ hours I finally let them have it and cancelled my account altogether.

My Caller Id still hasn't been updated!By Heather Park, posted: Dec 13My husband put our family on their big family plan. Back in July 2013. However I have yet to have my call Id come up as my name. They claim it is a 3rd party issue. REally!!!! so every time I call someone, not my name but other persons name comes up, and it's male. It's sad we pay so much a month for service and for a persons name that is really personal they can't change the Caller Id in their system. Well sadly they won't bother with it now because they claim it is out of their hands. I'm really dissapointed in my cellphone service. It would be nice for once to get real problems resolved with someone local instead of calling another country.

Worst Mistake EVER!!!!!By Stephanie Burklow, posted: Nov 13My husband and I decided to get cricket on the 23rd of October. WORST MISTAKE EVER! My husband and I both got semi pricey phones and were excited to get something more than $30 Wal-Mart phones. BAD IDEA! When we got the phones we had to pay for the first month of service as well as the first payment for buying the phones. The pricing was not terrible, however they want the payments every other week and they take it out of your account WITHOUT telling you! The idiot girl that was helping us purchase the phones kept taking so much that her session kept signing out so she has to sign back in and start all over again numerous times. Then she couldn't get the automatic bill pay (for the phone bill, not the payment for buying the phones) set up because she was doing an account inquiry, not a pre-authorization, and she was entering the wrong zip code. Two weeks later when the phone payment (for buying the phones) was due I went into the store to make the payment, and this time finally got the automatic bill pay set up (phone bill only). Today I looked at my bank account and saw that they had double dipped into my bank account! I went back to the store that we bought the phones from and tried to get the issue resolved only to find out that the people financing my phone were a completely different company and that there was nothing they could do about the money that was taken from my account. Ok, I can understand that. However when I asked the manager why this was the case, and why we were not told about this he started to argue with me and yelled at me. This problem escalated so much that we decided we did not want the phones any more. The manager made excuse after excuse as to why he could not return the phone. He even called my husband a LIAR!!! He said over and over again that we were not being honest. Once he did decide that he was going to refund the phones he told us that he was only going to refund $40!!! We paid $211.88!!!!!! When asked why he was going to refund so little he said it was because that store was not a corporate store. We were lied to, mistreated, yelled at, and argued with! They did not tell us that the payment for buying the phones was going to come out of our account automatically and when we wanted answers they were rude as hell!!! DO NOT GO TO CRICKET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Terrible serviceBy Ben Wang, posted: Oct 13I like the idea of no contract, but when the internet on your phone doesn't work, well why pay for it. And im not making this up, my internet will never connect. Even to get into my account on my phone, I had to get it on wifi. Just a heads up.
