By Ashley Holguin, posted: Nov 12I got the Admirer. There service is good for what I do for University of Phoenix. I able to do my homework and finish it all on my METRO PCS PHONE. It is a little slow on looking up some sites. It works for me just great. and cost $50.00 per month with the insurance.report

cheap cell service
By Jeff George, posted: Nov 12You get what you pay for and metropcs has always been a bargain for me. 50 bucks a month unlimited everything and I always have service and the LG MOTION 4G is a great phone for 150 bucks. You pay for what you get which actually turns out to be a good deal for us consumers. HOWEVER, I became irrate with Metro PCS today. I will not go through my full rant as all the details would fill the screen. However, the customer service chat online is a joke. I am so very disappointed with them that I am considering changing companies. I plan to call customer service tomorrow to see if they can in any way resolve the situation. But, I WILL WARN ALL- if you upgrade plans at any point you will be charged hidden fees that nobody can seem to explain with that none of their representatives can intelligently explain. Due to their mistakes I have wasted a WHOLE lot of time, frustration and money. I am not sure I recommend them anymore.. Shame on you Metro PCS.report- 5 people found this review helpful

By Anonymous2012, posted: Oct 12Service is unreliable and glitchy, and shuts down/craps the bed when you need it most. I pay for internet/youtube, yet when I need to use them, neither of the services work unless connected to wi-fi, which is also glitchy, by the way. Phone storage is filled up way too quickly, and the android system all in all is too glitchy. If you want good prices and can cope with bad service, then Metro is for you. If you need a reliable phone, I suggest buying from another carrier. Customer service call quality was bad, and it took forever for me to finally reach someone who I could barely understand.report- 2 people found this review helpful

What to be expected from METRO
By Carl Max Augustin, posted: Oct 12I've been a metro PCS customer for a while now, and I've only see people complain about the service and never mention the good parts( never had costumer service problem because I go to the main office in my area and not some authorize reseller ). Yes the internet connection they offer on the $40 dollar plan suck, and yes it does not have the best coverage out there , but it certainly give you the best price for the service it offers. Unlimited talk and text , and some internet depending on your plan , and all that with no yearly contract. If someone were to compare that service to any of the major carrier from whom you have to get a contract and pay extra for Unlimited talk ,text , and data, they would notice that metro offers the best price.report- 2 people found this review helpful

By CHEPENELLO, posted: Sep 12I had Metro before and switched to another carrier (Boost) two years later I can back to Metro just because of this phone. I could fill pages, but in short....The phone is non-responsive, I can't always answer calls at times, can not make calls, switching from one screen to another can take forever. Metro is OK for the price and I send many International Text and call land lines for free...this would cost me hundreds with an other carrier, i.e Verizon, Sprint, etc. If is was not for the phone.....I would be a happy camper!!!!report- 0 people found this review helpful

Non existent customer service, but gr8 value!
By Rajiv Jadhav, posted: Sep 12I've had the service for the past 2 years and I haven't had any problems. No dropped calls. No billing issues since its prepaid. The family plan is great since you save $10 a month with 2 lines on 1 account. Data speed isn't great especially for streaming video. But its ok for general internet surfing or doing a google search. Its ok even for downloading apps on Play. They've just started online chat -which you see when you log into the account online. This is very helpful since reaching a human being on the phone system is excruciatingly difficult and complex (need to press a sequence of numbers on the IVR). I live on Long Island, NY. 3G service is very sparse in NY. I dunno about 4G. Phone works in Canada too (canadian side of Niagra falls)report- 0 people found this review helpful

happy with metro pc

So many negative reviews, and maybe when people have a bad experience they are more apt to vent...but I had to respond, because I have had nothing but a positive experience for the last year or so. I have had great customer service, which seems to be the biggest complaint. I have had no problem with coverage at all, I seem to get coverage where everyone else does (att, etc..) Plus, the price is quite good, after being ripped off by att forever (which I had no complaints either, but it was double the price!) If it gets as horrible as some of these reviews, I'm sure I will switch, but so far really good....just looking for a new phone because I dropped my old one in mud where it stayed overnight, but still works, just too glitchy...I recommend Metro to everybody! I sure hope my experience stays positive, and I love that I am not tied to a contract!report- 4 people found this review helpful
