a to z wireless and metro pcs are liars, cheats, and thieves
By Eric Meadow, posted: May 12I bought a phone and plan after the store agent assured me I owuld get service at my home. I returned the phone and cancelled service after 20 hours under the Metro Promise when I could not get any sevrice. Still waiting for my refund after 2 months, corporate and the store keep pointing the finger at each other, taking no responsibility for the refund issuance. DO NOT USE METRO OR A TO Z WIRELESS, THEY ARE LIARS, CHEATS, AND THIEVES. - 1.7 overall
EMBARRASSING
By Ozzie Hype, posted: May 12To Metro Pcs, On April 25th, 2012 I went to inquire about purchasing a new phone at the Metro PCS store at 86-24 Rockaway Beach Blvd FAR ROCKAWAY QUEENS. I expressed my interest in a phone that has a built in router because where I work in Queens there is no internet service. I was told that the LG CONNECT 4G phone that I bought had a built in router. I went to work on April 28th all happy to show off my new phone to my co-workers & to my embarrassment, when I went to view a video on YouTube, no internet service. My co-workers who have AT&T,Verizon & Sprint have no problem getting internet with their Iphones. I could have bought a cheaper phone from your company instead of the most expensive one ($400). I expressed to the salesperson & store manager that I wanted a phone with a built in router & they assured me this phone had it. When I called Metro PCS about my phone not connecting to the internet in certain areas, the representative that I spoke to told me that the phone I purchased didn't have a built in router & that they were sorry. I then went back to the store & spoke to the manager about the wrong information that was told to me by them at this store & wanted to know what can be done to rectify this situation. Because of the 7 day or 60 minutes of talk time usage, whichever came first, the sales associate informed me that I couldn't get my money back because I used the phone for more than 60 minutes. The purpose of this letter is to inform the consumer not to buy this expensive phone the LG connect 4G. It's a waste of money! Now I am stuck with a phone that I can't even use where there is no internet service (Wifi). Just buy the cheapest phone from Metro PCS & just take advantage of their unlimited talk & text plan. I cancelled my Sprint account for nothing. Thanks for nothing METROPCS!!! FROM OZZIE - 3.7 overall
Getting better !
By Brett Chris, posted: May 12I had MetroPCS when it 1st launched in Los Angeles. It was awful. Dropped calls on the 450 by Westwood, and wasn't that great elsewhere. Recently, they had a promo plan $25 unlimited talk and text, I decided it would make a great 2nd number. I'm in Houston Texas now, and have to admit its been great. Voice quality is not as good at TMobile but its acceptable, and the price is amazing. Been back to Los Angeles, and its improved there as well. - 4.7 overall
Metro is the best value and has good reception contrary to popular belief
By Christopher Paul Boyer, posted: Apr 12I started paying my phone bill may of 2011 because I figured that since it's my phone and I'm the one using it, I should pay the bill for it. Metro PCS is a great provider! I currently have the Samsung Messager III and the reception is great on it. I'm going to school in the Chico Area and attend Chico State and I have service in all around Chico and the surrounding areas. Outside I usually have 5 to 6 bars and inside my dorm room it's usually around 4 bars. When I go to classrooms though, there are some buildings where I have 1 bar or 0 bars or I roam and if I go downstairs in a certain area my service goes to roaming which I am ok with because I still have unlimited texting and can call if I need to because it uses verizon towers to roam on traveltalk. As for the value it can't get much better. I used to be on the 50/45 dollar a month plan but since some features didn't work properly I went back down to the 40 dollar plan because I didn't need all those features. My bill has not changed at all, the bill is the same every month. I had a problem once with it and I called customer service and they handled the problem right away and helped me out. So the customer service is great. My only complaint is that I wish in-building reception was better for their towers so I don't have to roam in certain ones. But like I said this is only for a few buildings I don't use Metro towers so overall that's why Metro PCS got a 4. - 5.0 overall

1.0 overallI want Sprint so badly now!
By FuryFerret68, posted: Mar 12I really wanted to get Sprint, but then me and my dad decided that MetroPCS might be better because it's cheaper, and we could save up more to buy stuff we want. WORSE DECISION EVER. Screw this, first month it was awesome, now it's been 3 months, random ads that eat up my battery appear, my call gets cut off with 3 bars for like 10 seconds sometimes, and service in general sucks. So i made a plan to escape to Sprint, because my dad won't let me get another carrier, I'm guessing. Go to washington d.c, which is roaming. Call people alot for like an hour at a time. Go home and get my bill. Profit.
3.0 overallthe worst customer service!
By rowyda, posted: Feb 12well,imagine this your trying to switch your phone, speaking to four agents and they waste your time, none of them trying to help, you ask for supervisor 3times out of 4 and you put on hold for at least 15-30 mins...! am on the phone right now trying to give my feedback!...am for sure disconnecting, i rather pay more for better network and better customer care!- 4.7 overall
Switched from Verizon, couldn't be happier!
By Forrest Smith, posted: Feb 12I decided to pay my own cellphone bill (since I turned 18) I live in central mass and commute to college in Boston, I went from Verizon to virgin mobile (service was very spotty, and would lose service in car and movie theaters) and had nooo service at all in my apartment since it's a basement floor. It was so stressing. So I went to Metro during Thanksgiving time, and purchased the Admire. I paid a total of like $150 for phone and plan but boy was it worth it! In this apartment I have the same service as I did with Verizon, 1Bar to 0 bars. Sometimes I would roam but that's okay since I don't talk much. Once I walk out of this apartment, I get 3 to 4 bars (max is 4) and I have never lost service anywhere at all! If I have like one bar or none in some areas I can still make calls and texts! Just because you never always have full service 24/7 doesn't mean it's a bad company. I also have family in south Jersey & Delaware and I figured out in Jersey Metro has a much stronger coverage. I always have 3 bars or 4. never lower. It seems in Massachusetts it jumps but that's okay :) People who complain about customer service be nice and patient to them and they'll be nice back! I have never had a problem with them! But in reality you should just find time to go to a damn store! Overall great company. I love the no contract deal too! If you complain about the service also you should've of looked at the coverage map, see all the locations you travel to, and if there's like no service at all in some places you go, DON'T SIGN UP FOR METRO! Period. I want to go 4G soon and get the Attain, sick of slow internet speeds Xb - 4.0 overall
Never had any problems until recently !!
By Nadeem Habib, posted: Feb 12I live in Miami Florida and I am facing issues with call drops and not receiving text msges and calls for the last two days. I did inquire from close by Metro Pcs agencies and they also confirmed customers are facing some issues some phone are working and some are not. Maybe Metro is working on network or towers. I had a T-Mobile before and other different sister services, but Metro is the best with the exception of these few days started from February 23, 2012. I hope they take care of current Metro network issues asap. T-Mobile is also providing non contract 50 dollars package but I guarantee you won't know the service or multimedia text msges until and unless you join that service. - 4.3 overall
Been with Metro for years now
By Jacqueline Yekmalian, posted: Feb 12While I have been with Metro pcs for years now. I just bought my first android phone from a blackberry curve. I purchased the LG Esteem. I love it. My only compliant is battery dies quickly. Phone is lighting fast for internet and email. I have been happy with Metro. Rarely drop calls, good reception. Dont call with questions go to an acutal store. I find the staff at stores are more educated about product then the call in center. No Contract and one price for service with no surprises at the end of the month is great.
