Horrible company, bad customer serviceBy Millie Smith, posted: Jun 12I have has metro pcs for 2 years now. Can,t stand there customer service it is basicly non existant. There online and phone payment does not work. I am going to change because I am so tired of dealing with this company. Bought a phone from them for $200 and it is horrible- took it back in within the first week of having it and they did nothing to help me-horrible customer service, liars and cheats. I usually pay for 6 months at a time just so I don't have to deal with them. Have finally gottern a belly full and am switching to another company. Don,t use them unless you want to get an ulcer.

Very poor warranty serviceBy Keith Knowles, posted: May 12I bought a HTC Wilfire as a new MetroPCS customer. Three days later I reported a battery charging problem. Was told to wait and see if it reoccurred. It did, so within a week of purchasing the phone I went to a corporate store to report the problem and get a new battery. I was told everything was working, and to come back if the problem reoccurred. Neddles to say, three days later I was back with the same problem. I was told to call HTC and they would tell me what to do. I did. HTC said the battery was obviously defective and had been since day one and to send it back. Unfortuantely. I have to shut my phone off for 7-10 days while the post office does its thing. The bottom line is that MetroPCS does not stand behind the products it sells to you, does not honor its warranties and basically stinks at customer support. I've only had the service for two weeks, so I can't comment on the that, but if you expect MetroPCS to stand behind its products, DON'T!

Good deal for 50 bucks but Service is CrappyBy Eugene Santaskas, posted: May 12Hi, I decided to try Metro PCS after being lied to and ripped off over the years by at&t ,t-mobile and sprint, I purchased the Samsung Admire for 120 bucks, I soon realized I could not put a flash player on it, therefore I could not watch streaming video except for Youtube, Netflix would not keep sound sync to video and was jittery slow, I was pissed no Hulu, no News Video etc., then 1 month later metro had the phone for sale at 69 bucks, the internet is so slow it takes minutes to load a page, unless your connected to wifi you cannot play online poker games or anything, when using the GPS it drains the battery so fast you wont make it to your destination, even if you keep it plugged in then it will over heat and freeze up on you, you wont be able to reboot until you remove the case , cover and the battery, kinda sucks when your on a busy road and don't know where you are,I'm sure the 4g is better but who wants to shell out 400 bucks for a phone? I surely don't.,,Take my advice do not buy the Samsung admire Metro PCS made sure the manufacturer tooled the phones so you cannot put a flash player on it, which in turn would use up their bandwidth, But their internet is already worthless unless you have 4g,Its basicly the same speed as AOL dial up used to be.

Best bang for your buckBy Richard Russo, posted: May 12After using Sprint and T mobile for a few years I found Metro pcs and I have to say even though their customer service is not very good they give you the best bang for your buck. You have unlimited internet on your smart phone not like these other companies that charge you per usage and the price is literally half the cost.. I recently bought a samsung galaxy attain and i love this phone. I can watch all the online videos i want, stream music and browse web sites with ease. You really need the 4G phones otherwise its not worth it. I understand some of the frustrations that can come with this company but overall it is WAY better than the competition.

a to z wireless and metro pcs are liars, cheats, and thievesBy Eric Meadow, posted: May 12I bought a phone and plan after the store agent assured me I owuld get service at my home. I returned the phone and cancelled service after 20 hours under the Metro Promise when I could not get any sevrice. Still waiting for my refund after 2 months, corporate and the store keep pointing the finger at each other, taking no responsibility for the refund issuance. DO NOT USE METRO OR A TO Z WIRELESS, THEY ARE LIARS, CHEATS, AND THIEVES.

EMBARRASSINGBy Ozzie Hype, posted: May 12To Metro Pcs, On April 25th, 2012 I went to inquire about purchasing a new phone at the Metro PCS store at 86-24 Rockaway Beach Blvd FAR ROCKAWAY QUEENS. I expressed my interest in a phone that has a built in router because where I work in Queens there is no internet service. I was told that the LG CONNECT 4G phone that I bought had a built in router. I went to work on April 28th all happy to show off my new phone to my co-workers & to my embarrassment, when I went to view a video on YouTube, no internet service. My co-workers who have AT&T,Verizon & Sprint have no problem getting internet with their Iphones. I could have bought a cheaper phone from your company instead of the most expensive one ($400). I expressed to the salesperson & store manager that I wanted a phone with a built in router & they assured me this phone had it. When I called Metro PCS about my phone not connecting to the internet in certain areas, the representative that I spoke to told me that the phone I purchased didn't have a built in router & that they were sorry. I then went back to the store & spoke to the manager about the wrong information that was told to me by them at this store & wanted to know what can be done to rectify this situation. Because of the 7 day or 60 minutes of talk time usage, whichever came first, the sales associate informed me that I couldn't get my money back because I used the phone for more than 60 minutes. The purpose of this letter is to inform the consumer not to buy this expensive phone the LG connect 4G. It's a waste of money! Now I am stuck with a phone that I can't even use where there is no internet service (Wifi). Just buy the cheapest phone from Metro PCS & just take advantage of their unlimited talk & text plan. I cancelled my Sprint account for nothing. Thanks for nothing METROPCS!!! FROM OZZIE

Getting better !By Brett Chris, posted: May 12I had MetroPCS when it 1st launched in Los Angeles. It was awful. Dropped calls on the 450 by Westwood, and wasn't that great elsewhere. Recently, they had a promo plan $25 unlimited talk and text, I decided it would make a great 2nd number. I'm in Houston Texas now, and have to admit its been great. Voice quality is not as good at TMobile but its acceptable, and the price is amazing. Been back to Los Angeles, and its improved there as well.

Metro is the best value and has good reception contrary to popular beliefBy Christopher Paul Boyer, posted: Apr 12I started paying my phone bill may of 2011 because I figured that since it's my phone and I'm the one using it, I should pay the bill for it. Metro PCS is a great provider! I currently have the Samsung Messager III and the reception is great on it. I'm going to school in the Chico Area and attend Chico State and I have service in all around Chico and the surrounding areas. Outside I usually have 5 to 6 bars and inside my dorm room it's usually around 4 bars. When I go to classrooms though, there are some buildings where I have 1 bar or 0 bars or I roam and if I go downstairs in a certain area my service goes to roaming which I am ok with because I still have unlimited texting and can call if I need to because it uses verizon towers to roam on traveltalk. As for the value it can't get much better. I used to be on the 50/45 dollar a month plan but since some features didn't work properly I went back down to the 40 dollar plan because I didn't need all those features. My bill has not changed at all, the bill is the same every month. I had a problem once with it and I called customer service and they handled the problem right away and helped me out. So the customer service is great. My only complaint is that I wish in-building reception was better for their towers so I don't have to roam in certain ones. But like I said this is only for a few buildings I don't use Metro towers so overall that's why Metro PCS got a 4.
