B.S METROBy Sara Oyco, posted: Feb 12my mom told me oh ill pay your phone for one month i told her no its ok but she wanted to so anyways we called them and so my mom paid for it and then we where talking to christian the customer service so anyways then he told me that i would have to pay another 51 dollors on the eighth of march so we where mad cuz when i got metro they told me oh u just have to pay when ever u want the phone on im like ok sounds good but then they told us over the phone when we called that i only paid for the two weeks and then i have to pay on the 8th of march and so i would have paid 100 f ing dollors so my mom just told them to change the date so i can have a month service cuz she is in colorado and im in cali so then that was an extra 5 dollors so in total to pay for a month and an extra 3 dollors to talk to someone so in total we had to pay 59 dollors .. STRAIGHT TALK IT WAY BETTER MY MOM HAS IT AND SAID NO BS ON STRAIGHT TALK ALL YOU DO IS JUST BUY THE CARD AND PUT IT IN AND NOT ANY BULL CRAP LIKE 2 DOLLORS TO TALK TO SOME ONE TO MAKE SURE YOU GOT YOUR PHONE BACK ON BUT ANYWAYS .. I SEEN REVIEWS ON STRAIGHT TALK A LOOOOOT BETTER THAN METRO

total piece of crapBy Phraze Tu Amaze, posted: Feb 12Was on a really important call. The call dropped and I had no bars, and as soon as it dropped the phone had 4 - 5 bars.. I got so mad I finally threw my lg optimus at the wall.. Now im looking to find another provider.. metro-pcs is awful when making important calls or emergency ones.. total garbage i dont even know if its worth getting the lg esteem... just use a ipod touch and a wifi connection like the one guy said here... The reality is the service doesnt work when you NEED IT TO!.

decent companyBy Coreen Cross, posted: Feb 12i switched to metro pcs about a year ago. Where i live i have no problem getting service sometime i get more then my bf's verison phone. There is no 3g which sucks but 4g is pretty much like having 3g. I had no problem with my bill ever. 50 every month end of story so im not sure how everyone else got charged a bunch of random charges... when when my son gets ahold of my phone and tried to download apps it wont let him. The only down fall i find is that sometimes it is a bit slow trying to get on internet. over all... for $50 ill stick with it.

I was very happy with metro, good customer service, and good connections, meaning no dropped calls.By Inlightwithlove, posted: Jan 12I am now paying three times as much for what I had with metro with sprint and have dropped calls, phone frezzing up, takes for ever for a connection when calling someone. Metro was good in all these areas except they did not have the Iphone so I switched. I regret it now.

A Bargain in San FranciscoBy santhem, posted: Jan 12The Good: Flat Rate $50/month for Android phone for voice, texting, and data, no termination or reactivation fees. The Bad: Lack of Coverage, Slow Network, Horrible Customer Service, pay full price of phone upfront. I'm really quite happy with my $100 (at the time) Samsung Admire phone. When I got it, it had the latest Android OS, the touch screen is responsive, and almost all apps work with it. Since I rarely leave the Greater SF Bay Area where coverage is good, it works to me. Yes, customer service is weak. One isn't going to get everything for this kind of price. I rarely need customer service in practice, though. By comparison, an unlimited voice and text plan with the *minimum* 2Gb/month data plan for a smartphone at Verison will cost $119.99 per month. Yes, you will not get the same kind of service one gets from Verizon for half the price. Not only that, but you are locked into a plan. With MetroPCS one can stop and restart at any time with no financial penalty. This service is not for everyone, but if you want inexpensive fixed rates with no commitment, and you live in an area where it has good network service, then it is a reasonable option.

I bought the huwaie acend.it should be called a dumb phone.there's nothing smart about it.total ripoff dosent stream iTunes or movies,buffers forever no YouTube.this phone is so ragged it took me almost a hour just to write this review.God I'm glad to be back with t-mobile

Read b4 going to metro-save tonsBy whistleblower4321, posted: Jan 12If you must use metro please be know this: they will honor online prices, they will not let you leave the store; they will give you online price for phones; don't get ripped off. Also if your looking to upgrade your phone, they tell you it's 20.00 at dealer stores. it's free dial *228 press send if you want to switch phones; phone number change is 5.55 not a penny more. Accessories are cheap, you can get nice ones for ten bucks, don't pay 20 for a case. Don't let them fool you into paying for the highest plan the first month, you don't have to. 40 for nonandroids and 50 for androids. Updated on Jan 15, 2012 Oh yeah forgot to mention that if you have a metro phone, activate it yourself, will save you about 30.00, you only have to pay the first month, no reactivation fee required!

TerribleBy Annika Broughton, posted: Jan 12I had to rate as a one or they wouldn't post it. MetroPCS is the worse company I have ever delta with when it comes to a phone companies. There is no customer service unless they sell you a phone. They will promise to do something and lie about it after. The Phone service placed me on hold with Spanish for an hour, they don't want to deal with you if their is an issue. So I called back then say there is nothing they can do. They have no interest in keeping their customers happy. So please I know they are cheap, but save yourself the stress and go to another company where their customers DO matter. After all the people are the ones that keep them in business. I told my friends that have MetroPCS my problem and they switch to other companies. They were amazed as I was, that they truly don't care and will no nothing.

TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!By Jamaal Harris, posted: Jan 12This was the absolute worst phone investment I have ever made. I didnt even have them for a full week. Being 19 I was of course trying to be independent and went out spent 150 dollars for a phone and plan and I regret it. Im screwed because I cant get my refund because of something people failed to tell me that you have to return it in under 7 days of purchase with less than 60 minutes of talk time. If you depend on your phone then trust me it sucks most dropped calls, calls dont go through, and text wont go through. You would be better off buying an ipod touch and using the text free app or voxer app to talk and text. I hope this changes your mind on switching from who ever else you have to metro pcs.
