REALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
By Johnandbarbara Menn, posted: Oct 12My husband has had net10 for a couple years with no problem. He wears hearing aids so decided to buy a hearing aid compatible phone. He got it and it was harder to hear than his old one. We sent it back and tried to reactivate his old one. We needed a new SIM card. They sent one and twe weeks later we got it. Never could get the phone to activate. After of calling, talking to multiple persons each time and each one asking me to enter codes I was finally told they sent us a corrupt SIM card, so they sent us a nother one.After starting the activation process and waiting overnight and still no activation I called. I spent an hour and a half on the phone, talked to 4 different people. The last person I talked to was supposedly technical supervisor. He, after 45 minustes of< I don't know what he was doing, he told me they sent me the wrong SIM card. He said something about ATT towers and some other towers. Not only did they send me the wrong one once, they did it twice. They are sending the right card but I want my husband to use a different service. I'd do it now but he has over 1000 minustes and air time until Jan. Don't want to waste that money. If you're thinking of using Net10, think twice.

I was transferred 8 times over the course of 2 hours, repeated the same story to 8 different people, entered in code after code, only to be told that the phone didn't work. So as not to lose the minutes on my phone, I purchased another Net10 phone and spent an additional hour in customer service hell trying to activate the phone and transfer the number over. Oh and the bad SMS card that they said I had when I couldn't dial out on the new phone? Uh-uh. The card wasn't in the phone all the way. The reps don't know what they are doing and only seem to want to keep you on the phone hoping you'll get fed up and hang up.

The service itself is good but my god the customer service.... every single rep I talked with had no idea what they were doing, constantly put me on hold and transferred me around. Then the rep starts to raise their voice at me because she was unable to fix the problem the fucking nerve. I couldn't believe what I was hearing at first i was going to recommend this service to a few friends of mine but now I wouldn't to anyone!! VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS SERVICE. Do not waste your time.- 1.0 overall
Customer Service is TERRIBLE!
By Megan Nordbeck, posted: Sep 12I wanted to cancel my $50 unlimited before it refilled and get the 200 minutes instead. And I called their customer service,awful experience. Your on hold forever. And FINALLY when I talked to a representative he said he could not refund me. Which is really stupid! Because I still wanted to do business with them!! But after that I am done with net10. Do not do business with them! Also their website is confusing!!! It's a hard time just to deactivate your phone. I am switching to Virgin Mobile! Oh and the service for net10 is VERY bad! Do not waste your money or time! - 1.3 overall
Absolute WASTE of money!

When I called customer service to get an unlimited plan they took, literally, 2 full hours to work out a very small and simple problem. They also screw up my transaction then blamed me for the problem and charged me extra. I am VERY unhappy with there service, its NOT worth it. Especially since your paying 50 dollars a month and getting poor results in return. I fully plan on going back to Virgin Mobile ASAP. - 1.0 overall
Don't waste your money

Don't do it, it's a trap!!
By Eric Fryer, posted: Sep 12I had net 10 for a year with their easy minutes plan. They took money from my account at the wrong time, over drew my account. They deactivated my phone 3 times for no reason and after being on hold for half an hour I spoke with someone who barely spoke english and had such a bad accent you can't understand them. - 1.0 overall
Poor Products - Poor customer Service
By Paul Hirsh, posted: Aug 12I recently purchased a net 10 phone The phone had a bad simm card - When I called customer service and gave them the phone brand # model number . They sent the wrong SIOMM card - We are still going back and forth on this. A friend of mine recently bought a Net 10. He was able to activate it but could not make outgoing calls. So after spending $30 on the phone and $20 for a phone card he has a useless piece of JUNK. THINK LONG AND SERIOUSLY about using Net 10 phones and services. I've had nothing but lousy experiences with them - 1.0 overall
4 days of Cell Phone HELL!

Awesome service
By Margie Castille, posted: Jul 12I have been using Net10 for a couple of years now and I love it. I am now using the Samsung Optimus Net and it is awesome. The only complaint I have is that I work in a metal building and don't have service inside. I can live with that. When I switched from non-android to the android, I transferred my number and minutes and it went smoothly. I have not had any problems with customer service. They are great.
