nothing good.
By Tempie Markham, posted: May 12Have been with them 11 or 12 years. At one time they were above average in price and service. Now...they are lower than 1 on the scale. I was sent to three different stores...all referred me to yet another store. I have paid for incurance and it was less than useless. Need a phone...immediately, and had to gi with a 2 year contract. They forgot to mention BREW is ening this month and the 'ringtone service only is for smart phones. (I don't have one). They forgot to mention I can only order cases and screen shield online...from someone else, since they only carry it for smart phones. Now way to contact online. Now way to call and get anything more than script readers, and instore staff are less than informed, rude, and just plain lazy, unless you are personal acquaintance. NEVER NEVER will I get another thing from nTelos. And as soon as humanly possible will go to another provider.

NTELOS?FRAWG SUCKS!
By Stephen Hancock, posted: Jan 27Phone encountered a firmware problem that ntelos said was my fault and could not be fixed so they would not repair......insurance offered a year old refurbished phone that was not an equal to the old phone and a new phone was $399.00. The Ntelos agent at the corporate store said the correct firmware could be put back on the old phone for $40.00...my cost So after 4 years of faithfully paying my bill Ntelos/Frawg saw no wisdom to doing a simply flash that could be performed in 5 mins at the mall kiosk to keep my business. SOLUTION: My Verizon Razar Maxx purchased at Sam's Club for 69.99 are are getting along fine on a shared plan with my girlfriend for $50.00 a month. PS Coverage is VASTLY superior......party on FRAWG

Horrible!~!!
By infonow, posted: Oct 12Had not had a problem until recently but because of a holiday my payment was one day late they cut off my phone service. As most people do we pay our bills online. Sat. we paid all of our upcoming bills on time and because of a holiday and a weekend our payment was one day late. When I called to find out what was going on I was met with rude customer service. Who just tried to get more money out of me. When we had already paid the bill. Discussed with the treatment especially when we have never been late with a payment! As soon as I find another carrier we will be switching. DONE WITH NTELOS. Please do not use this company!

Hope that you do not have a problem
By Dwight Peck, posted: Apr 12With NTelos for 3 months when my Smartphone had a SOFTWARE Issue. 5 April they mailed the phone too about 10 days to get to the service center, and it is still there. 24 days and counting. Oh I pay for a smart phone and the loner is a old cell phone, lost all of my contacts, Before I had a phone issue Ntelos was all 5's but now that I have had a problem and still waiting more then 24 days for my phone they are WORTHLESS ALL ONES (1)s

Love it!

The bad: Nationwide isn't always consistent
Summary: Ntelos Frawg has lowered their rates recently to unlimited everything nationwide (for most part) for 45.00 a month. This rate is more competitive to straight talk and boost and offers just as much. Really enjoy my services with them.

Love Ntelos

Summary: At first got blackberry storm phone sucks went to store got the HTC Desire for no out of pocket cost since i Was still in the 60 day window. The Desire is best phone on market, period. I am a truck driver and use all ove rcountry with no service problems . I would recommend Ntelos to anyone that is smart enough to do your homework and compare there plans to any othe plan out there . Mu fiance has the Motorola Milestone and love s it also.

Bad service and reception (don't waste money)

The bad: No reception, call drops, poor customer service,text messages don't go through either, bad overall quality. Rude customer service, not helping with the issues. Want penalty even idf they are unable to resolve issues
Summary: I complained about no reception at my house and they told me "sorry" can't do anything. You have to keep the service until the contract is over. They told me that it can't be resolved. I am stuck with the service and paying for the phones I can't even use. Went to the Ntelos after getting the phone and was told to wait until all the leaves from the trees are gone to get better service.

Dont Wait GET IT NOW Best Service 5/5
By preston surface, posted: Jun 10The good: My family and I have had nTelos for about 13 years and have always had good luck. We had them when they were called INTelos wich was long ago. You get service just about anywhere. The costumer service is in the united states so your not talking to some weirdo. The people at the store are very polite and caring. Handset insurance is decent 4/5. Now to the prices 5/5!
The bad: Phone selection is not the best and the Andriod phones available are not the best aka: The HTC hero or the Zero as I call it. If you have a contract and during it you get a better phone they make you pay $16 to swap for the new one.
Summary: Overall I would recommend nTelos to anyone due to the nation wide coverage. I got coverage in parts of Cancun and Paris. So that tells you somthing.

Great Phone and Customer Service, just not mainstream enough

i even get service at my friends house where he cant get service with at&t
The bad: Out in wva on vacation... my friend with at&t got service, but i didnt... also, it isnt really a supported carrier to say, vote on american idol, or get facebook mobile on a non smartphone...
Summary: Overall Ntelos has good coverage and great prices and deals... they are getting better phones over time... CDMA tech. is steadily going out of date though.. and companies like at&t are the way to go.
