Misleading contract
By Reza Shahbazi, posted: Mar 28Called customer service to cancel one of my lines and he told me the cancellation fee is $100 but I end up getting $200. Call again and they told me different story!
4.7 overallSo Far, So Good
By Drewster in Richmond, VA, posted: Mar 16I was a long-time Verizon customer. Switched to T-Mobile to save money on my monthly bill. I don't use many phone services... 700-800 talking mins a month and fewer than 100 text messages. No internet. I purchased a used Sparq phone on ebay. T-Mobile overnighted me a new SIM card, and I was in business with a no-contract, $30/month 1500 min plan (with some internet capability thrown in, which I don't use). It's been over a month now and I'm quite pleased with the switch. I'm saving well over $20/month (including taxes & fees) and no connection/dropout problems. Oh, and I actually have (way) more mins available to me than with my Verizon plan!- 1.0 overall
T-MOBILE EXTENDS CONTRACTS ARBITRARILY... DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM --- YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO GET OUT!!
By Debi Libbey Moyer-Parsons, posted: Mar 9I have been a loyal t-mobile customer for over 7 years. I have been trying to get out of my contract for almost a year without paying a cancellation fee ($200 a line). In August I went into my local store (Roswell, GA) and asked when my contract would be complete ... they told me March 2013... well it's march 2013... so I went in today to see if I could move on.... Today they tell me that my contract is now through November 2013!!! I have not purchased a phone from them since 2/2010! How does my contract keep getting extended? I have been careful to not change my plan for fear that they would take that as another 2 year extension! I am done with these people! THEY ARE THIEVES... they must really need the $200 cancellation fee! My hubby and I have 5 lines between us......we are taking our numbers and our business somewhere else!!! even if it costs us $1000! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE THIEVES! - 3.3 overall

2.0 overallTerrible customer service
By robbed, posted: Feb 25I tried to cancel my service and was transferred several times as they tried to sell me a new phone and talk me out of leaving. Several days later my service was still active. (they wanted to give me a few days to reconsider, so now I was into the next billing cycle). I was told that I would be billed one more time, but the fees would be reversed. I was then billed twice more. They have refused to wave the first full bill, but were gracious to wave $3 of the $4 bill for the month AFTER I cancelled.- 5.0 overall
T-Mobile is a great
By marlaine25, posted: Feb 24I have been with T-Mobile for over 2 years now and have been very satisfied with them. Whenever I call customer service, the people have been very helpful. My Nokia 5230 died after two years of use and I had to buy a new phone. It was the on/off switch that became defective. Otherwise, the phone worked fine but I decided it was time for a new phone so I chose the Nokia Lumia 710 and so far it's been a good upgrade. I like the Nokia products and went into a T-Mobile store. Even the person at the retail store was very helpful. I was with AT&T for over 6 years and had nothing but problems so I'm very happy with T-Mobile. I've not had any problems with them at all. Highly recommend them. - 1.0 overall
T-mobile is a horrible network provider. Customer service sucks. Slow connection, there are lots of places where I dont have signal.
By prettydollrock, posted: Feb 241.) Customer service sucks. I specifically called to ask them twice to block international calls, but they failed to do so. So as a result I called overseas using google voice, but the phone acknowledge the direct international call instead. I ended up paying for $400 for a mistake t-mobile customer service committed. 2.) There are a lot of places/ areas where I completely don't have a signal, while my boyfriend using a different provider has 4bars. 3.) There are fees that I don't recognize what for. 4.) The monthly rate that I'm paying for, is way too expensive compared to the service of other providers. 5.) We are busy people, we don't need to waste time calling/explaining/complaning to t-mobile customer service. - 1.0 overall
NEVER BUY FROM TMOBILE KIMBERTON, PA STORE
By Donald Fry, posted: Feb 21We've been with the company for 7 years. I went to the Kimberton, PA location to replace a broken phone that had insurance. I was told the deductible is more than the phone is worth ($130). Bought a new phone ($212), brought it home, it doesn't charge. Took it back the SAME day and exchanged for the SAME NEW phone, brought it home, it didn't charge over night. Took it back the next day, was told they cannot refund or exchange my out right purchase. Was told to call 611 for customer service. Called, was told the store is an indirect dealer and there's no record of my purchase. They let any thief purchase a franchise and sell broken phones on their behalf for a buck, no loyalty. Moving onto another carrier once our contract is up this December 2013. - 2.0 overall
Terrible Customer Service
By Michael Hohl, posted: Feb 21I was told in December that I could get a better plan set up for my family in December, which started a new 24 month contract. In January I changed responsibility for my oldest son's line to him and I called T-Mobile to authorize the number to be released to him. He then called T-Mobile to get the account switched over and they told him he couldn't and set up a new account with a new number. After a month I see that I still am paying for his old number and it wasn't transferred. I call to terminate his old number and they tell me I can't and have to pay $200 to terminate even though its their fault. I told them I would leave for sure when contract is over and I couldn't believe their business decision is to lose thousands of dollars in future revenue from me over $200 termination fee which was result of their mistake. Unreal! Goodbye T-Mobile!!! - 1.0 overall
executive NAMES AND OFFICE phone numbers
By Jim Zarka, posted: Feb 19Hi, avoid this company. I have had nothing but headaches with tmobile, when i purchased the plan i had thirty days to cancel. So after two weeks i realize the service is really bad so they told me to up grade on notch and try that phone. I bought it, oh boy what dummy. The phone they sold me was not in stock so i got a loaner, a week or two latter my phone that i waited for came in. I did not work any better and now thanks to them i am over the period i can cancel. I figured i needed a cell phone so i kept it. To be fair it worked half the time, half the time it worked it dropped calls. Then after paying their fees i stopped told them i was not going to be extorted for service they did not provide, i stopped charging and turning on the phone. They do not understand that we their customers need to be treated fairly. When the phone is answered tell them the extension and name of the person that way you do not have to tell the receptionist why you are calling and get shunted to their POOR Customer service. Do not expect a phone call back these people should not be in business here are some numbers for you to call. main number for the following is 1 425 378 4000 extensions for jim rynolds is 3197, marcene hall 3196, juliana wim 3195, Mr todd 3199, keymicheal 3198, christin thomas 3101, for the following people the main number is 877 290 6323 @ 8031 AND VICTOR CRUZ @3418030
