Buyer beware

I was told I could keep it when I upgraded my phone (that I was grandfathered in), but when I got my bill I no longer had unlimited data. After calling numerous times to have it reapplied I was smacked with the reality that they don't care. I of course didn't get it back and am now looking to go elsewhere. - 1.0 overall
Unreasonable regulation, rude customer service
By Hannah Cao, posted: Jan 28Their customer service is really bad and their rule on stopping service is very unreasonable. My billing cycle goes from 19th of each month to 18th of the next month. I stopped my service on the 2nd of the month. Then, they still charge me the whole billing cycle although I did not use their service from the 2nd to the 18th. It totally does not make sense at all. When I stopped my service with Tmobile, Tmobile reasonably reimbursed my unused cost (prorated). Does anybody else has such experience similar to mine? - 1.0 overall

I will NEVER have Verizon again, I will NEVER speak highly of Verizon. I can not believe this comany is still in business. They are a MAJOR rip off. When I complained, they told me the money will be applied back to my credit card within 24-48 hours, which did not happen. So far I had to called 16 times and go to the local store 4 times to get my money back. Most of the time they promised me I would receive the money in 24-48 hours. They acknowledged that they wrongfully took my money, but hesitated to return it. What a crooked thieves! - 1.0 overall

If you really love paying more for less this is exactly what you'll get. And best of all if you get your jollies by spending all day on hold waiting to talk to a grouchy customer service representative who can't help you anyways, look no further! Seriously I could go on all day, but to make it short: Worst customer service known to mankind Horrible Coverage Phones are a piece and constantly having issues Most expensive and for no reason! Doesn't make sense to pay more, for less! less coverage, less data and less customer service. If there was a way to mark them a .5 I would have! - 1.0 overall

I was informed that it was not possible to purchase a new verizon phone over the phone!!! Maybe the very first person I spoke with could have told me that??? Perhaps? Your manager named Micheal in Dunn North Carolina is about the sorriest most lowdown excuse for a human being especially a MULTI MILLION DOLLAR A YEAR COMPANY manager I have ever seen in my life. I have been given the run around since Thanksgiving and it is now after the first of the year!!!! I pay 125 dollars A MONTH for your service and that is just for ONE line. I have been with you guys for quite some time now and this is despicable. Absoultely OUTRAGOUS!!!! I work hard as hell for my money and a quater of my paycheck has to go to you and I do not even get a thank you nor a goodbye when I talk to someone.I got told that I did not know what I was talking about and that I was practically shit out of luck. I also got hung up on before the conversation was over with. This HIGHLY pissed me off. I was very unsatisfied with customer servicer from this so called MANAGER and I will be sure to tell every living cell of a human that I know do NOT go to Verizon and especailly is you live in Dunn NC. This is preposterious and down right DIRTY!I have been paying insurance for a phone that I have not had for over a year and a half. When I asked for a refund, I got told from 3 people that I could and then I got told from 2 people that I could NOT. I was told to call Verizon and the insurance company and they each told me different stories. I was told one thing by Verion aka: DUMBASS MICHEAL and then I got told something else by Esecuitel aka: insurance company. I am so glad that my contract is up on the 14th of this month and I do not have to deal with these LOSERS and DUMBASS people anymore. They will give you the run around and tell you so many different things and you will never accomplish what you set out to. FUCK YOU VERIZON!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loyal Customer of 10 Years Gets Charged $120 Fee!!!
By Valerie Ulrich, posted: Jan 1Switched to Republic Wireless after 10 years with Verizon Wireless. Had my old number transferred to my new phone. When that is done, apparently Verizon automatically cancels your account. My account was cancelled 6 days before my contract ran out and they charged me $60 for each line. No one would refund the fees. I have never been late, in my payments and thought this lack of understanding unacceptable. I did not cancel the service, they did. Because of this alone, I would never go back to them. They are definitely a corporate machine. - 1.0 overall

I cannot wait until my contract ends with them so that I will never ever have to be a customer of theirs again. Let's start with the internet. I went to the store shopping for a bundle. They sold me separately. (not in a bundle) a hot spot internet device. The sales person said that the device would hardly ever go over the mins. He explained it to me like I would never go over 5g of internet space a month which was a total lie!!! I being a an idiot who knew nothing about the internet fell for the lie!!! I am a jackass! So I tried to take the device back and they charged me 150.00 to terminate the contract!!!!!!!!!!! I was told by the same employee that if I didn't like the internet I could bring the device back and cancel for no charge!!! LIES! So then on to the customer service on the phone part of my rant. I got my bill in for the device that I couldn't use, and the monthly fee. 300 dollars!!!!! I couldn't afford to make that in one payment, so I called Verizon to get a payment plan set up and they said that they would only do that if your plan goes to collections....nice!!!! I HATE VERIZON!!! DON'T GO THERE!
