Not Worth It
By IndiaRAtkinson, posted: Sep 12Pros: The phones are expensive, but they do have some neat ones. My internet works better than on my At&t phone I had before. No contract (biggest plus). Cons: The customer service is awful. You will NEVER speak to someone who really speaks English; the reps are almost impossible to understand and have a difficult time if you use words beyond a 5th grade level. It is very annoying. With how much money they make, Virgin Mobile could hire America, Canadian, British, or anyone else who speaks English for its English speaking customers. The voice quality is hit and miss. There is always something wrong whether it be my phone literally not working, them not giving me credit for paying my bill, texts not coming in for hours or more. Final word, stay away. I was really hoping to like this company after having such a negative experience with At&t, but no. It is just as bad. If they hired new reps, it would be way better, but until then, stay far, far away. - 1.3 overall

Dont go to Vergin Mobil if you want Pay as you go.
By Robert Lloyd, posted: Aug 12My letter to them. Hi I entered into an account as pay as you go. I did not use your service for two weeks after my last payment expired. The phone was locked out by you for the two weeks so it could not be used. I have now changed the plan to an unlimited one but you want me to pay for the two weeks of lockout? Why would I do that on a Pay As You Go plan? If I am going to continue to use your service it must be that I do not back pay for your service while you have the service locked out…would you? Please respond before I purchase a new phone from a reasonable company. Thanks, Bob - 1.0 overall
awful company staffed by tossers
By Peter Campbell, posted: Aug 12had a mobile on contract. broke phone and wanted to change tarrif for the new phone, told that i would have to pay up the rest of contact (£170) before they would consider changing tarrif. Also moved address and no service where i now live.. Dont ever buy a phone with these tossers, poor service area with even poorer after sales.
1.3 overallThey lie about their 30-day guarantee.
By joescafe25@yahoo.com, posted: Aug 12Bought a phone, it didn't work. Exchanged the broken phone for new one, also didn't work. Decided to return the hone and ask for a refund, which is guaranteed for 30 days, but they claim that I lost my right to a refund because I had my first phone (the broken one) replaced. They are liars. Avoid this company.- 1.0 overall

Fuck Virgin Mobile
By Kayla Beracy, posted: Jul 12Ive had virgin mobile for 2 years, its a cheap service so i didnt expect the best. But i did expect the customer service to still treat me the best. Ive never once had a polite person to talk to. Ive called 5 times just today for get airtime added to my account and its just IMPOSSIBLE for them to so. They are rude and dont give a shit about you. If it wasnt for such rude customer service i'd consider staying with Virgin mobile. But Since they are all ass holes, im Done with it. Good luck to everyone else! - 2.0 overall
Many advantages and disadvantages to being cheap
By paranormalil, posted: Jul 12There are advantages and disadvantages to this service. 1. if you use this as your primary phone-don't waste your time or money. Your calls drop, fail, and quality is poor no matter what phone you have 2. if you have a home phone or another work cell to actually TALK on, this phone is worth $35 a month for text, and unlimited data/email. I have it because I do not want to use my work cell as a personal cell phone. This is the kind of phone you WANT your teens to have for the unlimited texting and data and email ALONE. To recap-as a primary cell talk source, this is the worse service you could ever have. For email data and text, it's the BEST service you can ever have. Also-it's A+ for the teenagers in the house. One more problem you have to watch out for. AFter you sign up and choose your first months plan make SURE you do not have an automatic payment source attached to the account yet. I originally signed up for the $45 1200 cell minute plan, then realized the cell quality was SO bad that I dropped it down to $35 300 minute plan just a few days after I renewed the first month - 1.7 overall
worst customer service i've ever dealt with
By Jack Younkins, posted: Jul 12pay a little extra and go with sprint. if anything goes wrong with virgin mobile and you need to deal with customer service you will know what I'm talking about. Also, they double charged me when I ordered a new phone. You have to activate the new phone at the exact time your month ends. Will never use virgin mobile again. - 1.0 overall
Promo Codes don't even work!!!!
By Zoe Sanchez, posted: Jun 12We got a promo code through text saying the next time we added money to put in the promo code to receive an extra $10 and it never happened. We emailed costumer service and it took them about a week to tell us that the promo code didn't even exist. That they didn't know how we even got it. A week later we receive a letter in the mail with the same promo code! We called customer service, and again that it doesn't exist. THen they said they would give us a call back, and guess what it's been over 2 weeks. Where's the phone call?
