Great price from eBayProduct descriptionThe recessed headphone port on the iPhone prevents many standard 3.5 mm headphone jacks from fitting the device properly. With this headphone adapter, you can be guaranteed that all headphones will work with your device, regardless of the brand.
User reviews Great concept, flawed product, 2008-09-30 I use a case with my iPhone 3G which makes headphone jack becomes recessed like the original iPhone. So I needed a headphone adapter so that I can use my Shure E2C headphones with my iPhone. When using the adapter, the full signal was not able to transmit to my headphones. When playing a hip hop song, only the vocals and highs were transmitted. There was no bass and treble so songs sounded horribly flat. Do your self a favor and avoid this product. Use the $3 you save and buy a couple songs on iTunes instead. A waste of money, 2008-09-18 I thought I would need one of these for my iPhone in order to use a headset with a normal 1/4 inch jack. WRONG! my Sony's work just fine without this convertor. Don't waste your money, not that it's a lot, you just don't need one.... Great!, 2008-09-15 I don't know why Apple didn't do flush headphone jacks, but this item does a great job of solving that problem! It's a little long for an adapter, but the earbuds are short anyway. This only helps with that! Thanks! wonderful product, 2008-09-09 product works great for those who have the first gen iPhone and want to use standard headphones. Headphone Adapter - Works well for iPhone 1st Gen, 2008-09-07 Product works as advertised and I think is better than the rigid adapter cables sold by others. The price on these was good so I keep several of them around in car, gym bag etc. One of the annoying aspects of the 1st Generation iPhone is the recessed phone jack. This particular model fits snugly in the recessed port and does not come loose. The Amazon partner delivered the product as ordered promptly.
