User reviews Treo Headset letDown, 2008-11-24 A charge doesn't last long and it sometimes won't work at all. Flimsy, cheap-like. Bulky and unconfortable, 2008-10-20 This headset has to be the bulkiest and most unconfortable one I have ever owned. I can't add anything else because the one I got did not work, it wouldn't charge or turn on at all, therefore I returned it and got my money back. I wouldn't recomend it to anyone. I would tell you to rather buy another model like the palm ultralight which I bought later on and which I found much better: it is light, comfortable and works quite well. it's is great but, 2008-09-20 This headset is nice, light, good sound and the best the battery last really long, but it have really short range and is just a little bit big tha's why i give it 4 stars No BT device is Perfect, 2008-07-09 I had a Motorola that lots of people loved, but it just wasn't compatible with my Treo 650. I read about these and decided to give it a shot. My only complaint is volume, but I read in a Treo forum that slipping a rubber Jabra earpiece over the existing speaker would help. It does. Sometimes its a pain to have to re-associate the earpiece, but otherwise, its functioned very well for 3 years. The convenience of using the same charging plugs as the phone is terrific.
I know these are manufactured by someone else and modified and rebranded as "Treo". I'd love to find out just who that is since I'd like to buy a replacement earloop. Search around a bit, the price has come WAY DOWN. Free with Treo 650p, 2008-06-13 This earpiece was included in the box for free with my new 650p that I bought back in 2005. I wasn't impressed by it by any means and actually leave it in my glove box as a emergency back up. When I rush out and leave my preferred earpiece, I go back and get it if I'm not too far away. But if it's too late to turn around, I reluctantly pull out this one to use ONLY if I must but can't wait to get home to change it! I REALLY do not like this cheap earpiece. Hmph, that's why it was free. N e ways, I do not care for the "on the ear" design. I am one that prefers the "in the ear" earpiece. If that were the design for this unit, MAYBE I would use it. Because its a on ear unit, and the sound quality sucks, you can barely hear the caller on the other end no matter how you adjust it. It is not comfortable at all to wear because you have to clamp it tight on your ear if you want to hear your caller. I wouldn't have this unit if it were not given to me. Its just not a product that I would recommend to anyone, sorry.
