Great price from eBayProduct descriptionIf you enjoy listening to music and own an iPod, this is the perfect product for you! It enables you to wirelessly stream music from your iPod to your Bluetooth Stereo Headphones. Now you can listen to your favorite music stored on your iPod, and never miss a call.
User reviews Great for the price, 2009-01-06 This adapter works great with the 2nd-gen iPod Touch (it even charges the Touch, which is really fussy about what it will and won't charge from), except that it doesn't come with a clip that fits. However, the Iphone Case & Iphone 3g Case Genuine Leather has a wrap-around leather flap that holds the Touch very snugly in place on the naviPlay.
The naviPlay works well with my Motorola S805 Bluetooth D.J. Style Stereo Headset. The range is maybe 30 feet, far enough to wander around my apartment, both up and downstairs.
My biggest issues with the naviPlay are that it is pretty bulky (way too large to carry around in a pocket), and that the single button is too small and recessed to push easily, which makes turning it on and off a pain (especially since you need to hold the button in for several seconds to turn the naviPlay off).
It was a little tricky to pair the first time, but the big trick seemed to be just holding the power button in for a loooong time, and then after that it took another loooong time to actually complete the pairing. Once that was done, it just worked.
The play/pause/prev/next controls on the S805 cause the naviPlay / Touch to switch to iTunes, so they don't work with Pandora or next.FM.
Overall, for the price, this is a great buy. NAVIPLAY BLUETOOTH STEREO TRANSMITTER, 2009-01-06 When it works it works well. Battery seems to die after approximately 6-8 months of use. Pairs well with most devices. Battery lidfe/durability is the big issue. Works fine, 2008-11-26 It's a little bulky to carry around, but if you leave it in a central location, the range is fine. I connected mine to my Motorola S9 with no problems. works as advertised, 2008-11-24 Easily synched with my motorola 505. works well. have not use it as much as I thought so no thoughts on durability thus only 4 stars. Seems sturdy enough though. IIt's cheap,But it doesn't work !, 2008-11-16 A bluetooth adapter for Ipod under ten dollars ? I've got one and spent a great deal of time trying to get it to work. After connected,All it transmitted was just a buzzing noise. The website for firmware update was vanished.I contact The seller for refund or exchange and the reply I got was an instruction of how-to-do. I found in Amazon Customer reviews the same information and I have done it a dozen times or so, long before contact this seller.
My thought is:If this seller can't back up a ten dollar item. How can I purchase anything else and have faith at the same time from them ?
A Sony Bluetooth receiver/transmitter HWS-BTA2W,paired with Sony TMR-BTHiP bought later from Amazon have been wonderful. Now I can listen to my Itune music Library for hours thru my home theater sound system with excellent music quality.
