This is cute headset, although as other reviewers stated it is a little large. If you have smaller ears, don't bother, it won't fit and is quite uncomfortable. I had to return mine as it wouldn't hold a charge and would not switch over to answer call waiting.But, that could have been just a defective item. That happens every now and then. This bluetooth works well. Sometimes, it does not want to connect to my phone until I turn the phone on and off (which may actually just be a function of the phone. I have the LG Venus). Really, the only complaint I have is that when I'm on the phone, other people say it sounds like there is an echo. Apparently, it sounds a lot better once I disconnect from the bluetooth. Really, I'm only going to be using this when I'm driving since NJ has passed the law of driving while talking on a cell phone as a primary offense. The bluetooth does last awhile on one battery charge. Perfect, except for smaller ears like mine, 2008-08-07
I was so excited when I 1st ordered the BlueAnt X3 micro bluetooth because I "thought" I found the perfect one. However, the earbud is kinda large and really doesn't fit in my ear. When I finally maneuvered the included clear earbud, it stays on for like 10 seconds and you can't move your head around or anything. Anyways, the sound is awesome. The functions are easy to use and sync to up to 3 phones. Plus you can charge it with the usb, car, or home charger all included. I would highly recommend it for normal to large ear people. Purchased BlueAnt X3 Micro Bluetooth headset a couple of weeks ago for the ability to switch 2 bluetooth enabled devices. Works pretty well. The complaint I have is the small volume button that is hard to push while parked in the ear. Also, after about 4 to 5 hours, it gets a bit uncomfortable. Overall the product works as advertised, however, I have not tried it out in noisy public areas to see how it performs. Very Good Headset with Great Add-On, 2008-05-27
This model of headset is very good! It is very clear and has the added feature of working with your PC and telephone /communications applications like SKYPE (although you may need to purchase a BlueTooth dongle from what I've been told). It can simultaneously pair with more than one item at a time. I know because I had one before, I just lost it. But this particular one I bought from Amazon.com was defective. Amazon quickly provided me with a label and RMA to return the defective item and my replacement headset is already on its way to me within just a few days. Remember to keep the boxes and packing materials until you know for certain an electronic item works. I am scrambling around to find the proper packing materials to send the headset safely back (it has to be returned within 30 days or I get charged for both). I also paid extra to get Hot Pink (I am NOT hip, it just stands out more if I drop it). I did have to wait a few extra weeks for them to fulfill this order so if you are in a hurry, you might want to choose a different color.
A law in California takes effect July 1, 2008, prohibiting all drivers from using a handheld wireless telephone while operating a motor vehicle, but drivers 18 and over will be allowed to use a hands-free device to talk on their wireless telephone while driving. And you CAN use your speaker phone.
