User reviews

  Good product. Unfortunately, my car is very loud so it does not work as well in it., 2009-11-20
This is a good product and the delivery was flawless and timely. I enjoy the long battery life. Unfortunately, my car is loud and it does not work as well as my ear devices. Under more quiet circumstances it may work better.

  Decent Product, 2009-11-19
Once again Amazon did a great job supplying the product. The product does work. I have it on my visior in the car. In my job I am constantly in and out of the car so the ear model blue tooth would get lost. The sound is reasonable, not great, but it works. The unit held its charge for a reasonable amount of time. It was easy to set up and use. I am not overly excited about the product and being a Motorola product I expected more, but bottom line it works, the price was great.

  A Great item. Works Fine. Easy To Use!, 2009-11-17
I'll forgo all the technical specs on this item. Others have done a fine job with that. Simply put - and this is what you want to know: This Motorola Bluetooth Speaker worked great out of the box. It initially fully charged in 35 minutes. Sound quality is just fine. Loud and clear. I'm told I sound like I'm talking directly in my phone and not on a speaker. Much better than my phone's speakerphone.
And all the talk about the blue light. Forget about it. It's fine. It's not that bright! I don't even notice it. I like the blinking. It looks cool, and let's you know the status. Really, some people seem to have to find something to complain about.
Two tips: I've attached mine to the sunglass holder, which is in the center, ceiling console, and from there, it plugs in directly below to the power socket. I can leave it plugged in all the time if I want to, and never have to worry about it recharging. The cord isn't in my way. Secondly, be sure to remove the clear plastic protective film over the face of the unit. I left it on, thinking it would stay new longer, but it muffles the sound and created an echo on the other end. Removed it and voila! Sounds great!!! . DUH! :-)

  Not noise cancellation, but it is okay, 2009-11-17
I brought this for modifying it so that it can turn on when car started and shut off then car turned off. Once I opened it up, I noticed there only one microphone inside. With only one microphone, it can not do noise cancellation. I also noticed the speaker is quit small. I think if I can find a long microphone wire to wire the microphone to somewhere facing the driver mouth and replace the speaker with a larger one, it might work well. Of source I have to disable the internal 4V lithium ion battery to let car battery provide the power, so that when car power off, it will stop working. I need to insert a small delay circuit, so that when car powering on, it will turn on the T305.

I wish Motorola making the modification for it, that will make people's life a lot easier:
1) make the bluetooth car kit powering on when USB power is on and powering off when USB power is off;
2) Make a microphone jack so that user can extend the microphone wire to somewhere they like microphone to be.

For under $30, this is a very good device. I would get this instead of in-ear bluethooth device. I lost too many bluetooth device hang on my ear. I installed one of the Motorola higher end bluetooth car kit in one of our cars. That one works well, but installation was a lot of work. I think this is a good improvement on easy installation; but manually turn it on and off is a pain.

  Totally LOVE this product!, 2009-11-16
I use my phone a lot in the car and have been looking for a blue tooth product that did not go in my ear. I've thought about the one's with the FM transmitter, but didn't like that idea. I also saw the ones that go over the rear view mirror and display the numbers calling and stuff, but they state that the mirror becomes a little blurry with those. So I decided to purchase this product. I have not had any issues with the echoing that other people have said. I drive a honda civic mostly and I have even had conversations with the window down some going 60 miles an hour and no problems on the other end hearing me. I've also used this in my van and the person on the other end could hear my daughter talking to them in the second row of seats. Some people have complained the the blue blinking light is bothersome when driving at night, and that is true, it is a little annoying, but once you get used to it, it is fine. One of my co-workers bought one of these two after seeing mine and he loves his too. Great product! Thank you Motorola!
