User reviews

Plantronic Discovery 665 is good, 2008-09-04
Plantronic Discovery 665 is good, the voice is clear and no noise.
The only problem is the talk time,it comes around 2hr 30 minutes, not 3hrs(as they said).
Other then that everything is good as of today.(I am owning this from July 2008).

Most people can't even tell I'm on my cell phone let alone a bluetooth headset.
I just wish these things weren't so easy to lose. I'm on my third already.

Plantronics Discovery 665 Bluetooth Headset, 2008-09-02
I am very please with my Discovery 665 from Plantronics. Setup was very easy and the headset found my Samsung SCH-i760 right away. The controls are also very easy to work with. In other headsets I've owned its been hard to work the controls while the headset is in use, but that's not the case with my Discovery 665. The headset is also very light and the earbud is very comfortable. This makes wearing it for a long period of time very easy.

  Waste of Money, 2008-08-30
I purchased this hoping it would be a good bluetooth headset, but found out through experience that this was a poor choice. My wife and clients always state that they can not hear me. I usually get the response while driving or outside with wind as little as a light breeze.

I've been very frustrated by this product.

Problem #1: I purchased it because I needed a small ear bud, which it has as one of the 3 interchangeable ear buds. The problem is that the ear bud doesn't snap in securely so it falls off every time I move the headset (really, EVERY time). I use the doodad that hooks the headset around my ear and when the ear bud falls off, this does too. I'm constantly looking for these 2 pieces so I can re-assemble the headset. There is no way I could grab the headset quickly and put it on for an incoming call; instead I have to be wearing it in anticipation of receiving calls. Very annoying and inconvenient.

Problem #2: I can no longer turn it off, after about 3 weeks of use. It is constantly paired with my phone, which means if I'm in the vicinity of the headset, I can't use the phone without the headset unless I set my phone to "Bluetooth off".

Problem #3: The volume control buttons are too small to use during a call, especially if driving. It's hard to tell if I'm pressing them unless I press so hard that I dent my head.

Looks like I've got to spend the money on a new headset. Ugh.
