Here is my opinion, long story short.

Bonus

Comfortable, although sometimes I need to switch ears, it does tend to ache a bit eventually.

Bogus

Picks up EVERYTHING. So if you aren't in a quiet environment, or don't have some way to change the amount it picks up noise, than people will complain why there is a party going on behind you.

Seems to have a short battery life. But maybe that is just me.

PS3

I got this for my PS3, it works quite well for it. You can adjust what noise level it accepts, so that the people you are playing with/against won't hear your tv.

This product is a lemon, 2008-08-12
I've been a long-time user of Jabra products. This is the third Jabra headset I have owned. My first two headsets were fantastic. Nothing could be farther from the truth for this model. I have received almost universal complaints from others that they cannot hear me, or that I sound muffled, which is bad enough. The worst problem with this model, though, is the "answer feature". Whenever you call out, the headset makes a beeping sound to let you know that the call has been answered. The beep causes a delay in pickup, and usually occurs right when you say "hello" so that the person answering the call can't hear you, so you have to repeat yourself. I'm not sure what Jabra engineer thought it was a good idea to have a beep to notify that the call has been answered. A "hello" by the person answering the phone should suffice. It's a disaster, because it confuses the answering party. I called Jabra, and they told me that it was not a feature that could be disabled. Don't buy this model. It will just frustrate you.

Good product. I had a previous headset that I had difficulty hearing. The Jabra has excellent sound. Poeple have no difficulty hearing me either.
The only downside is that it's not quiet as comfortable as I was expecting from previous reviews. I have to move it around to find a comfort zone. Having said this, I must point out that I never could find a comfortable position for my old headset (must be my Vulcan ears).
Still, it's a good product that I would highly recommend.

The Earbuds are a joke, 2008-08-01
The earbuds for this headpiece are a joke.
They fall off continually and I lost the only one it came with in the first 3 days.
Nothing but hassles trying to find replacement earbuds.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS HEADSET !

  Good Bluetooth, not perfect!, 2008-07-31
I've had Jabra's bt250 (sturdy, but bulky), bt500 (charger goes in backwards and burns up battery), and now the BT5020. I've liked them all (over the ear is way more secure fit and not near as obvious/Star Trek looking, but people may not see u wearing it too). I think this one fits awesome with no BS gels to go in ear. It never falls off (even upside down under cabinets). I wear it in construction and store it in jeans pocket top edge of pocket with earpiece hanging out. Never falls out of pocket or off ear. It's only half an ounce...very sweet. It has a good sound, almost great but does have some occasional static pops....just keep it close or in pocket on the same side. It does have wind noise. After 8 months, the mic did break completely, but Jabra fixed/sent a new one. Battery lasts days (5/6 hours plus) and charges quick (1.5 hours) too!

I want to buy the bluetooth hub that it now comes with, but I can't find it separately! Hub lets u plug home/office line into it so u can walk home and switch off cell and call back on landline with this headset...cool!
