User reviews horrible piece of junk, 2008-11-11
totally bummed. i was excited to buy a bluetooth that would supposedly work with my convertible. nevermind that...this thing doesn't even work walking down the street in l.a. with little or no wind! everyone complained that there was too much background noise and that i sounded like i was under water. couldn't have a single conversation on it. and it's very uncomfortable and hard to get on your ear. i think anyone who says they like this product probably works for the company.
beware, as well, that since shipping and handling is nonrefundable, you're better off just throwing it away than bothering to return it. that's what i did. Great Bluetooth, Amazing price, 2008-09-24
I bought this as a replacement for the same product which I used for about 10 hours a day, 5 to 6 days a week, working outdoors in construction. After about 1 year of this abuse, it finally died. I tried the newer model and it was less comfortable, more complicated to operate, and it crapped out on me after 2 weeks. I like the 500 so much that I bought 2 so I have a backup, and the price was 1/2 what I paid for the original one. I have dealt with many people who have other bluetooth products, most are more expensive, and a lot of them sound like the user has laryngitis underwater in a tornado and are standing next to an AM radio during a thunderstorm. No such issues with this one. Volume is good, range is good, battery life amazing, easy to connect to MotoQ. Not perfect, occasionally looses connectivity or quits in the middle of voice dialing, but what do you want for twenty five bucks?! ...I guess it sounds like I'm on the payroll, but no, just like the product.
