User reviews

Works great with iphone 3GS, 2009-11-06
I have been using this headset for a few weeks and really like it. It integrates well with the iphone and switches easily between music and phone calls. The sound is good for both uses. I really like that it handles voice commands. The only problem is that there is a brief delay between pushing the button, hearing the tone and the command being accepted, but this is probably a limitation of the technology, not the headset. Well worth the money.

Why buy this headset? I will tell you, 2009-11-06
I recently was very curious based on the 'on' and 'off' reviews of this headset. The most vital part about having this headset is to replace the eargels with some high end ones. Thats all you need. I am professional musician and read another review stating to get the Etymotic ER6i eargels and stretching them on to fit. It made a DRAMATIC difference in the tonality of this stereo bluetooth. Its much better than the original earbuds provided with this headset. For 9 dollars more to buy a 5 pack of those right here on Amazon, to get better sound quality I found it completely worth it, especially with a price just under 32 dollars for this headset. I cant even complain about getting better eargels since its those little nuances that we often mistake as product error.

  What's NOT to love?!, 2009-11-05
This is my very first bluetooth headset and I was understandably nervous about it. But it paired with my smartphone (HTC VX6800) faster then anything, all the instructions were clear, its a great looking product, I just love it! I feel so cool with it, which is part of the reason that people buy things... be honest! Anyway, the sound quality is great, the different sized ear pads made me feel confident that I'd get a good fit - and I did, the smallest pads worked great! Easy to put on. I love the lanyard and how it attaches to the headset via the charging port, very secure! I was really nervous about needing to have the thing in my ear all the time; like I've seen people doing. But with the lanyard having such a secure attachment, there was no need to worry about that! Every feature of the headset works exactly as described! What more can you ask for because the PRICE was so FANTASTIC?! I LOVE THIS ITEM! Wish I had bought it sooner!

OK for the sale price, 2009-11-05
The silicone earplugs in different sizes make it easy to wear without the ear loop. I found it most useful for hands-free use while driving. Outside with any wind at all or inside with background noise people had a hard time making out what I was saying. I was disappointed that it would not connect via bluetooth to my laptop, as I had hoped I could use it for internet telephony. For the limited purpose that I use it, it's OK. I just pop it in my ear when I get in the car, and I don't need to fish around for my cell phone. Since I drive a stick shift, it is nice to have both hands free.

Great headset but forget enjoying tunes., 2009-11-04
I purchased this item based from the customer reviews and past experience with the PLT 510 which is a great product. The Voyager 855 model's problem is it will not stay in your ear unless you are perfectly still. I like to exercise and I tried all of the earbud combinations they sent, even modified one to see if it would hold, no luck. The sound quality is fair but on a phone call your better off to pull the other side headphone out of your ear or you will find yourself yelling at the person on the other end. For just sitting and listening to audio it is okay. It did not suit me for what I needed.
