Product description

The recessed headphone port on the iPhone prevents many standard 3.5 mm headphone jacks from fitting the device properly. With this headphone adapter, you can be guaranteed that all headphones will work with your device, regardless of the brand.

User reviews

Does what it is supposed to., 2008-09-03
Not crazy rigid or strong, but it does the job it is supposed to do. Enjoy!

  Miswired, terrible quality, 2008-08-26
I wish I'd paid more attention to the particular item I was ordering, because I didn't mean to buy this one. Like many other reviewers, I received one which was completely miswired, and as a result I essentially get the summed signal in the right ear and the difference in the left ear, which is more or less the same as getting mono in the right and (with mp3s) a lot of horrible headache-inducing artifacting in the left.

Avoid this product. It's too bad there's seemingly no reasonably-priced well-designed adapters.

Sound quality is very poor, 2008-08-05
I have thrown this away and will not use it. It will do if you are listening to audiobooks maybe, but for wanting a somewhat decent sound when you are listening to music, this one certainly doesn't do the job.

same as everyone else says, 2008-07-29
this is borderline trash. it works just enough, and just long enough to make you thing youve got a bargain. but then, you get sound from one earphone only. or none. depending on the velocity of a butterfly's wings in china. dont buy this unless you like to be disappointed.

  More than I excepted, 2008-07-26
Can you believe I have my iPhone for 2 months, and haven't used it for listening to music? I would like to use my own headphone instead of buying extra iPod earbuds which is the only one that work with iPhone.

Fortunately, I found this item on Amazon and it allowed me using my own headphone. It is inexpensive and provides the excellent performance to connect the iphone and my headphone.

I have bought the extra one from Eforcity as a spare. It is because this adaptor is quite small and lost easily.
