Product description

Introducing the all-new mophie Juice Pack, a uniquely designed soft-touch, non-slip iPhone case and rechargeable battery. The juice pack offers you the convenience of charging your iPhone on the go and gives you up to twice the battery life than the standard iPhone battery.

Charge your iPhone on the go, and get up to twice the battery life than the standard iPhone battery.

Convenient and innovative case.

The integrated LED status indicator tells you exactly how much power is left.

Save the Hassle and Double the Power!

Never be without your iPhone. Whether you're out of juice or just want to double your battery life, plug in your juice pack and double your time to rock, talk, surf, and send.

Convenient and Innovative Case

The case features a no-slip grip and soft-touch finish. Plus, by integrating the case and rechargeable battery in one convenient package, you have added safety for your iPhone.

Smart Power Management System

Use your iPhone adapter or any iPod connector to charge the Juice Pack--either without your iPhone or with your iPhone simultaneously. And Smart Battery technology instructs the iPhone to always drain out the Juice Pack first. When you're done with Juice Pack, simply detach it, and you still have a fully charged iPhone.

Powerful and Safe Battery Cell

The Juice Pack uses an advanced rechargeable Lithium-Polymer battery cell technology for added safety. Built-in circuitry prevents the Juice Pack from shorting, over charging, or malfunctioning even under the most extreme conditions. The battery cell is highly condensed and is able to store and deliver an incredible amount of juice in a small and compact package.

LED Battery Status Indicator

The integrated LED status indicator tells you exactly how much juice is left in your juice pack. Simply press the test button, and it will tell you how much power is left. The LED lights also indicate the charging status and charging progress.

User reviews

  Improves battery life, 2008-12-23
My boyfriend bought a different battery that extended the profile of the phone, which seemed flimsy and cumbersome. I wanted a battery so I could watch tv episodes, play games and listen to music while traveling to Europe. I like that the Juice Pack is a case, which didnt really effect it that much (although, it was a bit bigger in my pocket)

The ONLY complaint I have, is that the dock connector is backwards (so if you have a docking stereo, you cant view the iphone while it's in the Juice Pack.

  Useful but unreliable, 2008-11-23
Elegant solution to extending the battery life of the iPhone. It was given as a gift. It worked for about a week and then failed. Apparently one of the lithium-ion cells in the device shorted draining the device and the iPhone battery if it was attached.

It has been sent back for repair. Hopefully when the device is returned it will live up to its promise.

  good and bad, 2008-11-04
I received my juicepack within 5 days but it didn't work right. It made my iphone blink on and off incessantly. I called support and they requested I fax a proof of purchase. After that I couldn't get ahold of them at all. I tried for ten days and nobody returned my phonecalls or emails. I was despondent until finally I threatened to pepper the internet with negative posts regarding their product. I then got an email from the president of the company apologizing and informing me a new juicepack was in the mail. Sure enough, I got a new one that works great. I am happy with it and feel better about doing business with this manufacturer but I definitely think they need to beef up their support system.

Good Idea for STOCK iPhone, 2008-09-30
Let me preface this by saying I bought two of these Mophie units but have not been able to use them, yet. I bought two, one for my wife and her iPhone, and one for me and my iPod Touch. The finish and style are solid. I like the clean lines and the status LEDs. My only gripe is that if you have Skinz installed, there's no room to fit the Mophie and the iPod Touch is just a bit too wide to accommodate it, not to mention it interferes with the audio jack though this could be remedied with a very tight 90 degree phono jack. I cannot attest to the battery life since I really couldn't fit it to either the Touch or the iPhone (with Skinz). I understand the Mophie was never advertised to fit the Touch, but I was optimistic since it's form factor is so close to the iPhone (1st Gen). Regardless I would still recommend the Mophie for anyone with a stock iPhone and if I work out the fit issues for the iPod Touch w/o voiding the warranty on the Mophie, I'll try to share.

  Best iPhone/iPod Accessory yet!, 2008-08-31
Best iPhone/iPod Accessory yet! this product works just as it says it does. i may buy another one. reports on battery life were accurate. i used it heavily browsing and making calls and using it as an ipod and it took me 12 hours to kill it before i took it off and then i had a full battery on my iphone. the only thing they could improve is that it should have a protector for the screen. a flap or or something.
