If your cover door falls off, then it's likely the door itself, not your phone. I bought this and it fits perfectly, and it's as tight as the one that came with my phone was when it was new. The battery is a Blackberry battery so no need to worry about shoddy 3rd party products!

The first time I charged the battery, it stayed charged for 4-5 days. After that, the time just got shorter and shorter. Now, it has to be charged after just a day to a day and a half. Go ahead and spend the money for a good new battery. Great price for back and battery, 2008-05-06
Dropped Pearl and broke small connectors on back cover. Since the battery was also getting old and not holding charge as it once did this was a good option at a great price. Recently paid 4X this price for just a battery for a Samsung phone. great deal great product, 2008-05-02
no complaints. i needed a new back cover for my black pearl and there is a bonus battery that comes with it for a reasonable price.
