User reviews Enjoying it..., 2008-10-06 works well with my 3G iPhone...text-to-speech works great...at first i read about the superbooth3 was having problem with TTS with 3G iPhone, but mine works well..it pronounces the names of the contacts. Perhaps it was the latest firmware from Apple that fixed it.
Anyhow, pairing was a breeze, great sound coming out, no echos, battery lasts long.
Very Happy with it. Great Product, 2008-10-06 I couldn't be happier with this product. If you are not a fan of bluetooth headsets while driving, than this is the device for you. It is very easy to set up, and even easier to use. It is a real clear speakerphone that has made driving and talking on my cell phone much safer and easier. BlueAnt Bust, 2008-10-06 A friend had recenty been given one as a gift. She liked it so well I thought I would try one too. BE CAREFUL- Many of the phones are not equipped to download Contacts. Clarity of both Speaker and hearing of others is erractic at best.
In the 3 weeks I tried to use this device I had everyone saying they couldn't hear me and I had trouble hearing them. The Voice Answer feature went dead the last week I used it preventing me from answering any calls before going to VM.
Advertised as usable w/in 30'- How? You can't hear it if you step outside of your car to fuel let alone speak.
Calls to BlueAnt help were long periods on hold and no answers as to why other than bad cell reception. No support from Verizon Wireless as they didn't even know the technology existed as it is not theirs.
Cavet Emptor! Sent back for a refund. Near Perfection, 2008-10-06 The blueant is a must have device for those with bluetooth capable phones that drive and don't want the distractions of looking at phones or holding any near their ears. It is small, lightweight, sounds great, and super easy to use.
The only problem I've had with the device is my Verizon phone will not upload it's phone book to the system, so when I get a call, it says all 7 digits, which I don't always know off the top of my head. I know this is a Verizon problem of locking down features, but blueant should have another way to put in numbers such as connecting to your computer and transferring contacts into the device.
Otherwise, I've used the device for about a month now. I've kept it on all the time and only charged it once! Great device and highly recommend it but be aware if you have Verizon. Hands Free Speakerphone, 2008-10-05 This product performs above my expectations. Its even better than the the built in system in our new BMW. Quality is very clear. I highly recommend it.
