User reviews Good product, bright LED's., 2008-12-17 Products fit and finish is good. Works as advertised. BUT. The blue LED on the front of the unit is as bright as a AA flashlight. It forms a huge 3' blue circle on the ceiling. I had to put black electrical tape over it. The blinking LED on the back is also annoying if u like your bedroom totally dark while charging your phone but is easily covered up. Good product. Cradle, 2008-12-12 Mine was hinky. The first one was defective. It worked well for 2 days, then the battery charger stopped working. The second one (replaced free of charge, thank you!) worked great for 3 days, then the sync cable stopped working. Since what I really needed was the charger, I kept the second one. Works great with standard battery, 2008-12-02 A very handy charger that is practical, and works great with the standard battery. I would have rated five stars, except you cannot charge the extended life battery while it is on the phone (you CAN use the charger for the extended life battery when it is detached from the phone). it docks, it charges. , 2008-11-17 works as well as the HTC branded dock/charger. I was recently given the real HTC version from a person who got rid of their Mogul. so, for the price this version is a great buy. now I have a night charger and one for the office.
notes: with the AC only charger that does the spare battery/main charging there's a crazy LED on the back corner that strobes bright red/green at all times if you don't have a spare battery to be charged. there's a front blue LED for the USB charge indicator which is only bright directly above it. like a nightlight on the ceiling. these LEDs are on regardless of if the phone is in the dock. since it's now a spare, I've been considering hacking the LEDs to be under the clear plastic for a light show.
tape over these if it's going to live in the bedroom.
the clear holder part doesn't guide it into the jack as well as the real thing but the upside is that you can partially sit it there just as a stand without kicking on the charger. Dock is great, power Connection is flakey, 2008-08-16 This works very well once you get the power connector to stay in. Charges the phone and the extra battery that is REQUIRED for a 6800.
Hey, I like it.
