The battery arrived today, and so far it's functioned great. There are a variety of Li-ion batteries that fit this PDA, but because of the inherent dangers of a Li-Ion, I didn't want to purchase a grey-market battery. This one is manufactured by Sanyo, as was the original, and appears to be OEM for the HTC device.
The original was a year old, and was depleting abnormally quickly. We'll see how long this one lasts.
