Great price from eBayProduct descriptionGo where others fear to tread! ToughSkin rugged rubberized case sports a distinct, textured pattern that protects your iPhone from accidental bumps and drops without adding bulk or limiting access to buttons and controls. The bottom of the case flips back for easy docking and the removable belt clip offers the freedom to carry your iPhone however you please. Insert belt clip attachment if desired. Slide your iPhone thru the bottom flap, then pull flap around the front of your iPhone.
User reviews Great protection, 2009-01-03 I had one of these cases for my 1st gen. iPhone, after seeing how other peoples iPhone were dented from dropping while waiting in line for the 3G. I had to get one for it. Both my iPhones have had a number of falls sometime on the sidewalk and still look brand new. I'm not a big fan of the belt clip it comes with, I just carry the phone in my pocket. Most of my friends don't like how thick it makes the phone, but imho it makes up for that in the protection it provides. Tough skin, but not so tough clip., 2008-12-25 Yes the case itself is very snug and makes you feel secure about your iphone. My friend has the Speck PixelSkin (that does not come with a clip) is also similar, but slightly slick looking as compared to toughskin. I like have the clip as the screen part is protected when I clip the iphone. With PixeSkin you have to carry the phone in your pocket and the screen is unprotected.
As far as the belt clip itself, it seems flimsy and might not last tooo long. Anyway, even if it does not last much the case itself can be utilized without the beltclip. Overall a 4 star product. Great Case, 2008-12-22 I was looking around for a good case for a good bit. I just could not find one that looked good and was rugged. This case makes the phone a little thicker but in trade you get a extremely solid product. I would def recommend this case to anyone. Great case!, 2008-12-20 This is is the best for heavy duty use. I use an elegant full leather case in my office. And this one for outdoor activities. Get it! Case is awesome, belt clip not so much., 2008-12-10 The case itself is fantastic, as many reviewers have said. Fantastic grip, button access is excellent, and I'm way more confident taking the phone to the store and the gym with this case on. I really needed a case+belt clip solution, though, and this doesn't seem to cut it. The belt clip is really flimsy. It is quite difficult to put on and off the belt, and I'm pretty sure the clip will break very soon. The holster itself is also flimsy, and if you wear it with your shirt on the outside (not tucked into pants), there is a big piece of plastic that digs into your skin from the back of the clip. I may keep this for now just for the case, but will have to keep looking for a viable case+clip solution.
