User reviews Stylus: must have, 2009-01-07 Bought this item to go with idpod, accessories, got 2 - one to keep at the office. Son was very happy and has yet to put it down!!! all good
Amazon.com,,,,I will be back, especially on blackfriday!!! count me in, can shop and free shipping!! It arrives fast and as said. That is what I am looking for!! Bye Bye Malls and attitude!
$5 of Garbage, 2008-12-29 The tip of the stylus is a fat piece of rubber-like material. You can tap the screen with it, though it requires a very hard push. Dragging is impossible, because the extreme friction between the tip and the screen. Additionally, the tip is not firmly connected to the pen, and drags along behind the body of the pen. I've only had it for a few days, but I'm already afraid that it's going to fall off.
I bought this stylus to use with Drawr (basic version of MS Paint) and WritePad (turns text written on the screen into type), since those two apps would be very useful both at work and in class. Unfortunately, even if dragging were not a problem, the thickness of the tip makes it far too inaccurate to ever use.
If you're thinking of buying this, simply take a $5 bill and rip it into pieces immediately. It will have the same net effect as buying this stylus, but it will take less time to complete than Amazon's checkout process. Best iPhone stylus so far, 2008-12-14 Out of the three types of iPhone stylus's I've tried .. this one actually works. Albeit due to the limited design of the iphone panel it doesn't work with say a more accurate palm style stylus .. this one is the best so far of the iphone type. Not very accurate, but at least its an option. Personally, I think Apple needs to tweak the iphone a bit and come up with a way to utilise the existing palm style stylus's. Everyone in my office uses an iphone and of us.. over half have the chubby finger syndrome like myself.. thus making using finger strokes very messy on detailed apps like spreadsheets and other work related apps. All in all, this stylus is the best one for iPhone yet, very recognizable with the looped overhead pen clip. Works, but doesn't...., 2008-11-16 It does work if you are just tapping the screen. It does not work for sliding across the screen and you have to push pretty hard on the screen for it to recognize it, which I don't like doing to my iPod touch. I probably won't be using it too often. But it is good if you are typing something - is is easier to get the exact letter (especially if you have larger fingers like my husband.) Works for Icon Selection, not Practical for Dragging, 2008-10-28 Works OK for Icon Selection, but you have to press pretty hard to get the touch to be recognized. Would be fatiguing for keyboard entry and doesn't really work for dragging - seems like rubber tip may come off eventually if you tried.
Kludgy "solution" that I wouldn't consider using.
Tested with iPod Touch that has screen protector (came with Griffin case). Some might say that screen protector compromises performance, but how many people do you know that use no screen protector at all? So any stylus product should work fine/acceptably even with screen protector.
