Product description

Combining an ergonomic design and versatile ear hook, the sleek, lightweight Motorola H500 Bluetooth headset is so easy to wear that you’ll forget you even have it on. Providing longer talk times, a compact design, and a comfortable fit at a nicely affordable price, the H500 is the perfect companion to your cellphone for easy, clear handsfree communication. The H500 offers up to 8 hours of talk time or 200 hours of standby time from a single full charge, and comes with a travel charger.

The H500's blue LED shows those around you that you're taking a call.
Combining an ergonomic design and versatile ear hook, this sleek headset can be worn on either ear and allows for comfortable wear over extended periods. With Bluetooth wireless technology, your devices work together up to 10 meters (30 feet) away. It's compatible with any mobile phone with Bluetooth 1.2 technology or higher. It can also be used with Bluetooth-enabled PCs for handsfree Voice Over IP (VoIP) use.

The H500's multifunction button allows you to place, receive or end calls. Simply press the multifunction button, place the headset on your ear and a wireless link is automatically established. (The first time you use your headset, you'll need to pair it with your cell phone.) Volume and mute can be adjusted from the headset. Conversations will occur without interruptions, as the vivid blue LED light provides a visual cue to others that you're taking a call. You also have the option of turning off the LED light.

  DONT BUY, 2008-12-30
I BOUGHT TWO OF THESE FOR MY WIFE AND I AND THEY BOTH FELL APART WITHIN A MONTH.

  Alfalfa's Bluetooth, 2008-12-25
If you have big ears, by this I mean the part that literally sticks out of the side of your head, then this is a wonderful bluetooth. Bought the family 4 last year. Unfortunately, we are all on the smallish side of average when ranking the circumference of our ears. This device would fly off (usually into the passenger side or back seat) whenever our blindspots needed quick checking.

This is a terrific bluetooth with one large flaw! It functions perfectly (better than its replacement) and keeps a charge for a long, long time. The included directions for use are clear. Its only fault is the plus sized non-adjustable ear piece. I gave mine to an amply earred fellow and he LOVES it! Now if we could only find 3 more of these folks...

  Beware of Refurbs.., 2008-12-16
I ordered 2 of these and one looks really used. Hmmm? Great price but it did not mention "used"

  Works, but...., 2008-12-15
"For the money" is a phrase you hear a lot and it applies here. I got mine for $20 and it's not that bad. The only two gripes I have are that it really doesn't hang on your ear very well and when it's in your pocket, it will turn itself on with VERY little pressure on the main button.

That said, it has good volume, VERY good battery life, and seems to work well.

  Pleased, 2008-12-10
I have never had a Bluetooth Headset so I'm brand-new to the whole experience. I purchased two of these - one for myself and one for my boyfriend. I've been very pleased with the value for the price, but in the future, when I can afford a better model, I will purchase it. The main problem with this headset is that it picks up everything in the background. Aforementioned boyfriend is a police officer, so everything on his radio is just as loud (if not more loud) than his voice. Also, when we're outside if there is any wind at all it really competes with the person speaking at the time. However, all that being said, handsfree is amazingly convenient and I have no idea how I've gone this long without one. Also, it's black and tiny so it looks cool on both a big bodybuilder cop and a curly-haired fashionista.

    Kogan Agora in Action

I hope I didn't mislead you with that title. This is not the mythical "G2," as in T-Mobile's G1 successor. This is, however, the "G2" as in the second Google Android phone to hit the market. Kogan's Agora and Agora Pro run Android and are set to ship at the end of this month. Here's some rather poor footage of what looks to be a rather awesome phone in action. I found this clip, I didn't shoot it - the video comes from YouTube user...

    iPhone as heart/cardio monitor

I should exercise. No, really — I need to back off from the keyboard, take the Twinkie out of my mouth and go for a run or something. I should, but I don’t. Working out has never given me big results, so I simply stopped. That I’m not 200 lbs by now is a factor of genetics (thanks, Mom and Dad!) and decent nutrition (minus the occasional junk food jones). Still, walking to the grocery store and getting lapped by the senior citizens in my hood is...

iPhone gets cool slideshows, Keynote Remote app

    iPhone slideshows, Keynote app

Feeling let down about the keynote address at MacWorld? Yeah, me too. Phil Schiller did a decent job, but he’s not the showman that Steve Jobs is. And the biggest phone-related news had to do with DRM-free tunes and 3G music downloads. (While a step in the right direction, it’s certainly not game-changing — after all, Amazon has had DRM-less tunes for ages). Through all this, however, it may be easy to overlook that there were a couple of kinda...
