  I Phone Screen, 2009-11-20
I was very impressed with my purchase. I got exactly what I ordered. I had no issues with any part of the process. I received good quality merchendise and I will make future purchases from Amazon.

  Couldn't be happier!, 2009-11-17
This product is exactly as advertised. I had my phone apart and repaired in about an hour. BE SURE TO WATCH YOUTUBE VIDEOS FIRST! I saw way too many people complaining about cracking their LCDs because they didn't watch the mistakes of others first. My phone looks and works like new! Ordered on Friday and arrived Monday. 1-3 Day shipping. Thanks!

  Looks as good as original, great price, 2009-11-16
I bought this screen in late Oct 09. It didn't come with instructions. Maybe they added some since then. I followed a couple of YouTube videos. It took me about 1.5 hours.
The screen is sharp and it looks like the original.

Tips:
=======
1. The screen has a plastic film on the inside part (to protect against scratches and dust, I guess). When I removed it I didn't realize that it left a mark all around the screen. It looks like glue. It's not noticeable when the screen is on and bright, but when the screen is dark it's visible. It doesn't bother me that much but I wish I knew about it before closing the phone.

2. Some YouTube videos suggest using a hair dryer to heat the old screen in order to melt the glue which keeps the glass in place. I didn't have one so I used a hot plate. I put the screen on a cloth and let it sit on a hot plate until it was too hot to hold. By the time I brought it back to my desk I was able to touch it and separate the glass.

3. Don't forget to turn your phone off. I forgot to turn it off and when I was finished the screen didn't work. It was detected when I plugged it into the PC so I messed with it and made sure the cables were plugged in correctly. I turned it off and turned it back on and it worked fine.

  Great price, great shipping, great product!, 2009-11-13
As advertised, works great! I used the instructions [...] along with some videos on YouTube to guide me through the process. As far as the installation being complicated, I found it to be as expected. Patience and having the right tools will really help you install this product to look like brand new! A few tips: the heat gun is your friend, and will make things easier! Just don't melt anything! Also, taking your time with the steps involved to separate the glass from the front frame will keep the seal around the glass (when put together, the seal between the glass and the metal bezel) from sticking up or looking nasty.

Thanks for the quick shipping! Would definitely recommend this product to someone like me who's (son) is really careless with iPhones and hard floors. Sure can't beat the price!

  Not What I Expected, 2009-11-05
The Screen was very difficult to replace on the iPhone. The tools that were provided in this kit were made of some cheap plastic that basically snapped apart while I was attempting to pry open the phone. There are other tools needed as well so I ended up having to go to the store to buy more tools and spend more money. At the end of it all the screen was barely replaced, the wiring was all messed up and the LCD screen had permanent damage. If you are going to buy this kit to replace the screen yourself DO NOT DO IT!! You will just end up having to buy an all new phone as I did. If you are buying this for a "professional" (which no Apple store will do this for you and you have to find some random guy that claims to know what he is doing) than good luck with that! You are better up writing a letter to Apple letting them know they need to re-make the iPhones with more durable screens!
