Product description

Skinomi TechSkin goes beyond traditional screen protectors, skins, covers, and cases. This cell phone protector is made from clear thermoplastic urethane film - the same film used to protect military aircrafts and NASA space shuttles. It has the ability to resist high levels of abrasion, making it the ultimate protector for gadgets and devices. The film "scratch-proofs" your device without adding bulk like traditional cases. Skinomi TechSkin is designed to provide lifetime protection for your device. If the film ever wears or scratches, Skinomi will replace it for free, for as long as you need it for your device. If you ever need to remove the TechSkin, it peels off easily leaving no residues unlike other screen protectors or skins.

Look No Further...Best Screen Protector Around, 2009-11-23
So Now i've installed this on my Palm Pre and my friends Iphone. Very easy to install if you read directions thoroughly wet your fingers and the backside of the film. Easy to get aligned as it slides around while wet. And you only need to use very light pressure with the included card to get out all the air bubbles. Take your time and first try you can have a 100% perfect air bubble free screen protector.Highly recommended!! You can't even tell you have a screen protector on once its dry. I'm getting the protectors for my wife, son, brothers and my Nintendo DS game systems as well it works so good.

  GREAT PRODUCT, 2009-11-18
This item is great!! It took 5 minutes if you have read the instructions on how to apply it, the bubbles WILL smooth out in a day or two, and you can still use your Palm Pre while it's drying. Whoever couldn't get this product to work should just slow down & relax and get it to work, which it does.

Best shape for the Pre, 2009-11-16
Here is the main reason that I think the Skinomi Palm Pre Screen Protector is better than the rest - the shape. It neatly covers just the front. It is a rounded rectangle with holes for the speaker, button and mic (as illustrated.) The drawback of other ones, that (poorly) attempt to cover the entire area including the sides, are the "wings" that need to go over the corners. They are difficult to put on, making wrinkles almost unavoidable and will eventually start to peel off - at least this was my experience with another brand.

The material used seems to be the same used by other brands (used on helicopters!) and it requires a little patience and attention to put on. If you read and follow the instructions, it is not the problem some people make it out to be, nor as simple as putting a lid on a jar.

Have had it on for a month, the initial "water bubbles" went away after a few days, and I am quite pleased. Thought I had scratched it but the next day it was gone! This is not the kind of protector that needs to be changed weekly nor monthly (had it on my previous phone for 9 months!)

I prefer this type of protection because it is not bulky and adds virtually no thickness to the Palm Pre, keeping it smooth and comfortable in my front pants pocket. I personally prefer the feel of the Skinomi protector than the original face of the Pre as well, but I think that's just me.

  Great screen protector, 2009-11-15
Ok so i have used screen protectors since my treo 650, i use them on everything i uahualy use a pre cut pull & stick but it just didnt hold up on my pre so i got this. i was very reluctent to ge tthis due to the water needed to put it on but got it anyways! i would buy again! EZ to put on with a little patience. GREAT Protector!
Just dont try to rub out soemthing really hard & fast, i had a few minot not even realy noticible micro bubles on the left side so i took a cloth & tried to rub them out well i rubbed so hard & fast it ruined the protector! now th eleft side is foggy! i am going to try to return it but it is almsot $4 to get it replaces which is BS! maybe $2 but $4? that's silly! ou are paying their cost it isnt really a full warranty. i am off to contact them next. will try to remember to report back on warranty process

Absolutely awesome - not too hard to install, looks better than without, 2009-11-15
I received my Skinomi on Friday. I nervously opened the box, and was amazed to find a little spray bottle of solution, with the skin itself and installation card hidden in the cardboard. Knowing it is a super-high-tech sticker, I was a little nervous about installing it.

I would recommend making sure you clean the surface really really well, and make sure to do the installation where you have good lighting. I sprayed my fingers, and then went to remove the protector. One thing the instructions did not make clear was how to even peel the protector off the backing. I could not get it up, and I was afraid to crease it. I finally removed the entire thing from the back (not just the die-cut middle, but the square edges), and once it was removed, I could easily remove the die-cut middle with wet fingers.

To be honest, I thought during installation I was messing the whole thing up. I used the microphone hole as an alignment fiducial, thinking that of all things, the microphone better be clear. It wouldn't matter if the ear speaker was a little covered. Amazingly, I got the entire sticker aligned, and then I used the card to smooth it out. About 5 minutes later, I noticed it had started to set, so I was done. At that point, I found a bubble! The bubble was trapped on all sides by set plastic---no way out!

I put my phone down and went to bed. I have no clue how this thing works, but there was no bubble in the morning, and all streaks were gone. Where did the bubble go? I do not know. I do know that my pre screen is now protected, and honestly, this thing looks better that the screen by itself. My only complaint is that it is a little less slick, but that's a small price to pay. The protector also seems to show finger prints less, so less need to wipe the screen.

5 stars---highest recommendation.
