  Great charger, and few alternatives for the Touchstone, 2009-11-21
A good looking AC or USB to micro-USB charger that does not block the AC outlet below and folds nicely to avoid the metal plug ripping into your suitcase.

Almost any micro-USB charger will work with a Palm phone, but the touchstone is a different matter. There are two criteria for using a charger with a Palm Touchstone. The cable must fit in the recessed portion of the Touchstone and the charger must correctly inform the device it is safe to draw more than USB power. The vast majority fail on both counts, despite the published standard for the latter. Some other alternatives that are known to work properly include Amazon Kindle 2 chargers and Motorola micro-USB car chargers, although whether your cigarette lighter can put out enough juice varies by vehicle.

In short, there are some less expensive alternatives available, but this charger is an excellent choice.

I ALMOST paid 49 dollars for just two cables from Palm directly.

Also Sprint doesnt sell the adapter individually.

The items I received from Zenith match the ones that came with my phone precisely.

I intend to cancel my palm order and purchase another one so I will have one for work.

Like the earlier review that named Vibe Cellular, I purchased from them as well. The charger and cable arrived in a padded envelope with the charger in a plastic bag. Both seem to be very genuine Palm products.

Based on this positive experience, I'm going to order another from Vibe Cellular to take advantage of the great price!

I received mine through AccesoryOne. The order was shipped quickly. However, when it arrived it contained the OEM wall charger but the USB cable was not the OEM Pre cable and did not work with my Pre. It was an LG cable. It was a mini-USB cable but did not work for either charging nor did it work for connecting the Pre to my laptop. I called customer service and the sales representative was very polite and apologized for the incorrect cable. He looked up his inventory and saw that he had the OEM USB cable in stock and said he would get it out in the mail to me. It arrived 3 business days later (more than acceptable) and was the correct OEM USB cable which works perfectly with my Pre. It was great to see this dealer make things right in a timely fashion. Great product and great seller.
