  Fits Perfect , 2008-09-07
Product is a great comfortable fit for my ear and I can hear very well with it. I bought two of them one for the home phone and one for the cell phone. I refuse to talk on the phone without it!

  Better than bluetooth, 2008-09-07
I don't know, I've always liked high-tech and loved the idea of bluetooth, even though it tends to make one look like a space alien contacting the mother ship or a blathering fool until someone notices the bluetooth unit in your ear.

But I've never gotten good reception with bluetooth units or enough batter life. Don't get me started on static and wind noise.

That's why for the money you can't do better than these wired units. They're lightweight, comfortable, and have ample cord length. I've ordered several, and you'd pay 3 times the price in a bog-box electronics store. Do yourself a favor, even if you do own a bluetooth, keep one of these one hand. Well worth the price.

The Platronics MX150 Flexible Boom Headset is small and compact. It works fine except it does not have the button to answer your call like another headset I have does. It is somewhat convenient to use and you don't have to speak really loud like the ones that are not booms since the microphone is closer to your mouth.

  Hard on the head, 2008-09-04
Not sure why, but I get headaches when using this headset. Since I get headaches when using a cell phone in general, I purchase headsets to distance the phone somewhat. Usually it works. Not with this headset however. Not sure why.

Simple and does a great job!, 2008-09-01
I decided to give it a try after reading the reviews on other websites and amazon. The sound quality and volume are one of the highlights. My previous Motorola bluetooth headset was difficult to hear when driving with rear windows down. With this headset, I have no difficulty hearing even with the driver's window down.

The fit is quite comfortable, although it takes some time to get used to having it hug your lower ear instead of wrap around your ear like other models. I wouldn't plan on taking for any rigorous hikes or sporting acrtivities, as I don't think it's as snug and secure as models that wrap up and over the back of your ear.

The sound quality on the receiving end is quite good when I ask friends/family with very little background noise.

For the price, it can't be beat. Additionally, with the dwindling size of phones and accordingly, the battery life, it allows me to speak longer then I'd be able to with a bluetooth.
