User reviews Not very good, 2008-12-12 This product wasn't very good. It didn't fit well on the screen, and when I put in in the holster, the screen protector would just catch and peel partially off. I would not recommend this product if you use a holster. Horrid Experience, 2008-11-15 My screen protector arrived, and I carefully read the instructions before applying it onto my BlackBerry 8800. As I went to apply the protector onto my screen, I realized that there were two stickers, one (blue colored) which sticks onto the mask protecting the screen and is removed along with the mask for easy application. The second sticker (red colored) was directly attached to the protector itself. This had me worried.
I went and applied the protector, precisely aligning it to my screen (it only covers the screen area). However, my nightmare started once I went to remove the red sticker from the protector. I started removing it slowly, only to have the sticky, paper residue left behind from the sticker. This had me extremely frustrated. I had to spend a good 10-15 minutes with my Monster Screen Cleaner and microfiber cloth to rub out the horrid sticker residue.
Even after rubbing out the residue, there were still some minute bubbles near the edges of the protector which I managed to work out by slowly pushing them out of the edge. However, there is still an annoying tiny bubble at the top left of the protector.
The protector does hold well onto the screen, and I do not suspect it to leave behind residue once it is removed (unlike the annoying sticker). The only reason I give this product 3 stars instead of 1 is because the protector does work well. Otherwise, for such an annoying and flawed application process, this is a burdensome product. If you buy it, make sure you take the time to remove the sticker super slowly (which I did, but that didn't even help). Decent screen protector, as long as it lasts, 2008-11-12 $3 is expensive for one protector... You can get a package of other types. If this one lasts though, it might be worth it.
It fits well and looks good. Pretty good, 2008-11-10 While it fits just fine and i have not had any issues with it so far. If you dont get it on perfectly the first time, you're SOL. Mine does not stick at the top, so it looks kinda funny but i have had no issues with it. Great, but not Bubble-free, 2008-11-10 The package guarantees that there will be no bubbles when you place it on the screen. I put it on and off multiple times, wiped it down, and still there are small bubbles. I got over it, but the main purpose of scratch-free protection still is functional.
